The Color Tip Wand is a handmade glass dildo, intended for use vaginally or anally. The material makes it awesome for temperature play, and the shape and design make it good for couples as well as single people.

This dildo is made of glass, so it's completely odorless and tasteless. Glass has the delicious propensity to be extremely slick, requiring very little lubricant to provide thrusting power--the downside, though, is that it's (of course) completely firm, so you can do harm if you aren't careful when thrusting this toy. I would caution anyone new to glass or other ultrafirm materials to listen to their body and take it slowly--but this toy in particular lends itself well to beginners, since the size is reasonable for both vaginal and anal use.

The Wand I received looks different from the one in the photo; I emailed the admin and they informed me that they're handmade, so variety can be expected.



The wand itself is clear glass, with a large bulb at the end to serve as a handle, and the head is swirled with green, yellow, and amber. Above that was an inch of straight glass, followed by a medium sized bulb, and then two small bulbs, followed by the smallest bulb, which was in the middle of another straight inch. This ends in the coloured head of the wand, which is slightly larger than the mid-size bulb. The toy itself is very thin; the largest bulb (the handle) only has a 4" circumference, and the smallest bulb is about a third of that size. You can choose to use it forward (with the Colour tip being used for insertion) or reverse (with the large bulb used for insertion), depending on your preferences.

As it looks like a clear phallus, it's not extremely discreet, and because it's made of glass it doesn't travel very well--you'd have to keep it very well padded to keep it safe.

Because it's so thin, it would be good for beginners to vaginal sex or to anal play; the only caveat I'd recommend is keeping a very firm grip on the handle of the toy during anal play since there isn't a huge discrepancy between the smaller ridges and the handle--and you should only use it with the colour tip for insertion when used anally. Even though it's made of glass, it doesn't feel very heavy, at less than half of a pound. If it was a bit thicker, I would've found it more satisfying, but it does well as a warmup toy.

Glass is easy to care for; it can be boiled or put in the dishwasher for sterilization, but soap and water will do well for every day cleaning. As glass can be easily broken, you must remember to store it with care; a padded pouch would be the best storage option for it, but if you don't have one of those handy, I can recommend using a pair of thick winter socks, instead. Glass is compatible with any type of lube that you'd like to use.

Before use with this, or any glass toy please be sure to inspect it closely for cracks, chips or damage: the last thing you want is an unpleasant surprise.

The Color Tip Wand came packaged in a white box, wrapped in pink tissue paper, with the bar code and product number listed on the box. It's nice for gifting, but a bit inadequate for long-term storage.
