Crystal Fun

This is a smaller sized dildo, but the ridges keep it interesting and make it a very fun toy. If you are looking for something you can use anally also, I would look for a different toy.

Use

The Silicone Crystal Cote is best used for Vaginal use. But with the balls attached, it also makes for a good Anal toy as well. The suction cup on the base provides a pretty good suction to use in the bathtub or shower....which makes this toy really stand out. The suction up is probably one of the best I've seen on a dildo yet.

Material / Texture

The Silicone Crystal Cote is well...Silicone. Its flexible, but not so much where its droopy. The smell of this when it first arrives is a little off-putting. It has a very chemical smell and needs a few washings (or a boil) to get the smell to subside. I haven't put this toy in my mouth, so I don't know about the taste.

The size of this toy would best be suited for someone who has a little bit of experience using sex toys, because of the large head on it. Especially if you are going to use it for anal.

Down the shaft of this toy, there are raised bumps that go down the length. They are quite pronounced, so you will feel every inch of this toy!

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is a total of 7 inches in length from the top of the head, to the bottom of the suction cup. The insert-able length is only 4.5 inches...which sounds disappointing, but I assure you, those 4.5 inches don't disappoint. Its has the typical cock shape, but the color is anything but normal! I love the crystal clear with the blended color...it is pretty fun to look at!

When I first received this toy, I was pretty bummed about the size. I thought it would be bigger than it was. It only has a diameter of 1 1/4 inches. Which is pretty small when you are looking for a good thrusting dildo, like I was. But after getting warmed up with it, and using it both vaginally and anally *on separate occasions* I really enjoyed the size of it, it was a pretty good fit!

Performance

I think the best part of this toy were the ridges that went down the length of the shaft. They are raised just enough where you will feel them with every thrust. The head on this thing is a little large, and rounded at the tip, but it still felt pretty good once you got it in.

The suction cup on this toy is one of the best I've seen on a toy yet. It has stuck to just about every surface I have tried. After some intense use of this toy, it didn't budge from where I had it. It only released when I wanted it to, which I thought was awesome!

Care and Maintenance

This toy is Silicone, so it can be sterilized by boiling, or just a good wash down with some hot soapy water, and a good rinse afterward.

Silicone toys CANNOT be used with Silicone Lube! So Water Based lube would probably be your best bet with this toy. My favorite lube is water based and worked wonderfully.

The toy came in a clamshell packaging, which you could use to store this toy is, since its re-close able. I always wrap my toys in their own cloth towel, and put it in my 'toy box'.

This toy does retain a little bit of lint if it comes in contact with any type of cloth, so remember to always wash your toys before, and after you use them.

Experience

I was very anxious to get this toy in the mail! I had been reading about it, and was very ready to get in there and use it!
When I first opened the box, I was so disappointed. It looked so small! I even told my husband "well, this is going to be a total flop!" I'm glad this toy proved me wrong!

That night I decided to go ahead and give it a little test run. I got out my favorite water-based lube -just in-case- and set to work. I tried it vaginally first. It didn't take anything for it to slide in and since the insertable length is quite small (4.5 inches) it was in pretty fast! But what really caught my attention where those ridges! I could feel every.single.inch as it went in. The faster the thrust, the more intense the ridges felt. I was in love.

A few nights later I decided to try it anally. Not impressed. I'm what I consider an "intermediate" user when it comes to Anal toys, so I figured this would be OK for me. Wrong. The head on this thing is pretty blunt, and it was NOT fun to get in. And it just felt, awkward back there. The whole experience only lasted about 5 minutes before I got bored with it, and went on to a different toy to finish that job.

I would recommend this to anyone for Vaginal use!
Follow-up commentary
After having this toy for quite some time now, it is still my go-to shower toy! The suction cup on the bottom still holds strong while it's stuck to my shower wall!

The only bad thing is with all the washings (and what not), the clear part on the dildo is becoming somewhat cloudy.

Is this silicone or a silicone composite?

Good review. It's not full silicone - it's TPR silicone. Normal TPR can't be sterilized by boiling so I'm not going to test it on my Crystal Cote. I wish I had of gone for the purple one. The orange is BRIGHT - wouldn't lose it in a heavy snow storm! It's not one of my top favorites cause it's so tiny compared to what Im use to but the design and color up the middle intrigued me.

Actually, I was just looking at the slip that comes in the packaging with the Cote and it states the material is - PVC.
To me, the toy at first had a new vinyl pool liner smell which would back up the PVC statement.
Anyone else have this toy and questioned the TPR-Silicone material???

This doesn't look like silicone to me, so I wouldn't doubt it.
