'D'oh!' Indeed.

I was incredibly excited to try this toy but sadly, it didn't live up to mine or my partners expectations. It still hasn't been successfully used for it's advertised purpose. Perhaps a slight redesign of the product would help but for us, it just wasn't right. Those of you with very strong kegel muscles may find this toy to be great however. But before you buy look around at a few of the other strapless strapons out there. Heaps to choose from these days!

When I first heard about the Feeldoe I was ecstatic! Finally, something without bulky, annoying, and uncomfortable harnesses. Something my girlfriend and I could use at the same time with ease!

Unfortunately it didn't quite work out that way...

My first impressions of this toy were mixed. It looked impressive and fun, and it came in my favorite color, purple, but the packaging left much to be desired. It was displayed in a clear plastic package; rectangular in shape with the Feeldoe sitting in appropriately shaped indents. No bells, no whistle, just simple plastic. On one hand the less packaging the better for the environment. On the other I felt slightly annoyed that such a supposedly ground breaking toy was packaged like a ten dollar dildo.

Upon opening the packaging the first thing I did was pick up the Feeldoe and, like usual, smirk and wiggle it around. Wiggle it did! Both shafts are very flexible and soft. Easily bending, which lends itself to being able to conform to certain shapes and positions.

The material it was made of was tacky, however. Quite sticky to touch and soon began picking up a few dust particles floating around in the afternoon sun. There was also a definite order. Not overly strong but there and slightly off-putting.

Now down to the nitty gritty. This toy is designed to be used as a strapless strapon. The small protrusion known as the 'pony' is inserted into the person in the giver role. The other end, the 'horse', goes into the receiver. This toy can be used by lesbians in place of a traditional strap on. It can be used by heterosexual couples for anal play or double penetration.

Sadly, none of this worked out quite as planned for my girlfriend and I. I was tagged to be the 'giver' but I found the bulb of the pony to be uncomfortable and hard to insert. There was something my body didn't like about the shape of it. Insertion was at times quite painful. As was moving around with it inside of me. The Feeldoe also didn't want to stay erect in me and would move and slip out easily. Not a great thing was when it came to thrusting. Holding it in with your thighs can help sometimes but it limits it's positional uses and doesn't solve the whole problem.

The horse end of the toy fit into my girlfriend quite well, and she didn't have any complaints about it. Nothing ground breaking about the feel of it, but at least it worked for her.

The Feeldoe comes with a small bullet vibe which sits between the horse and pony. It's turned on by pushing a button on the back, which sticks out from the toy. The vibrations from the bullet itself were very strong, too strong for direct clitoral stimulation, but they didn't travel through the toy well at all. We ended up taking it out and putting it aside.

Cleaning the toy was a breeze; just warm water, antibacterial soap and some scrubbing. I suggest drip drying though. As I mentioned before the toy is tacky and will pick up every single tiny bit of lint on the towel or cloth you use to dry it with.

As always, silicone eats silicone! Use water based lube on this toy.
Experience
My experience with this toy ended up being less than ideal. In the end it was used solely as a dildo. The flexible material makes it safe for rougher thrusting and the pony makes a great handle, whether it be for solo or couple play. It did end up being a pretty expensive dildo though but at least we can still use it in some way!
Follow-up commentary
Well, it's been a few months since my review on this product, and unfortunately I must say that I still haven't had any real use out of it.

Honestly, I've barely touched it, opting for other toys instead. It's just too much trouble. It's still great as a hand held dildo to use on my partner, of course, but apart from that, it's just a great big flop. Pun intended.

I think I agree with what I've recently read other reviewers say about this product; it's great for those who are experienced and have very strong kegal muscles, but beginners should probably give this one a miss. Unless of course you are really drawn to this toy and are willing to put the work in.

For anyone who did or does buy this product however, best of luck and I hope you enjoy it!

Good first review! I'm sorry it didn't fit your needs well, though.

Have you found a good way to store this toy? What would you recommend, as it picks up lint and dust?

Good first review, though it sounds like the cons you listed were things you would like changed rather than things you didn't like about the toy. So "Tacky material, heavy 'horse' section, weak vibrations" instead. It's up to you, but it makes more sense to me like that. Nice work!

Hi P'Gell! Thanks for your question. Honestly, the best way I found to store this toy was back in its original packaging. It's resealable, but a little bulky sadly. Anything plastic would work though, I think. A large flat Tupperware container, or even a ziplock bag. Just as long as its not cloth. ;-)

Hey solitudinarian, thanks for the constructive criticism! You're absolutely right. I did goof that bit up a bit! I'll see if I can edit it and fix that part.
