Dear Ella, I Love You

Ella is a luxurious dual ended dildo for women who are on a mission to have a g-spot orgasm. Her sleek curves and slim neckline make her easy to slide in and out while milking your g-spot into squirting orgasms - Ella definitely knows how to work it!

Use

I've heard so many great things about LELO products and how luxurious they are. I was proud to finally get my hand on the Ella.

Ella is a gorgeous, solid silicone dual-ended dildo specially designed to stimulate the g-spot while the other end can be used as a handle or for traditional thrusting. THis is a great choice for the woman on a mission to find her g-spot, wanting to learn how to squirt. Whether you are a beginner, sexpert, or g-spot enthusiast - Ella will have you screaming her name! Since Ella is made of silicone there is less of a chance for injury due to rapid thrusting so I think this would work well for couples play, also being an ego-booster for the man who cant find the spot. Being made of solid silicone, she can also be used for temperature play. I wouldn't recommend this dildo for anal use simply because it doesn't have a properly flared base.

Material / Texture

Ella is made of the softest, smoothest, most velvety medical grade silicone. This makes her non-porous, hypo-allergenic, phthalates & latex free, and extremely safe to play with. She is definitely oozes luxury. From the moment I removed her from the box, I fell in love. I could not stop stroking her. It was lust at first sight! I noticed that her body is solid, seamless and firm, but flexible. She doesn't bend but when pressure is applied to the flat g-spot end, there is some give to it.
There is little to no drag to her velvety surface making her easy to glide in, needing very little lube. Most times, I do not need lube at all with Ella. This is perfect for beginners and advanced users alike.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

Ella is a beautiful piece of work. She is sexy, sleek, and chic with curves in all right areas! She is a dual ended dildo. The flat wider end is perfectly angled for stimulating the g-spot and she does this so well. She fits perfectly inside me, and makes it so easy to find my g-spot. This is a very effective design for targeting g-spot in different anatomies. The other end is just as well designed. It is easily held and fits nicely in the palm of my hand while using the g-spot end on myself. This end can also be used for thrusting, however, this end does nothing for me. The beauty of this toy is in the g-spot end.

Ella measures 7 inches from end to end, with about 5 insertable inches at either end. She has a diameter of about 4 1/4 inches and a circumference of 4 inches. She is not what you call filling. She is very lightweight at just under half a pound. She is an excellent size for beginners but would also be greatly enjoyed by advanced users and g-spot enthusiasts as well.

Ella can be discreet - that's if she doesn't have you screaming her name too loud! She is far from realistic looking and probably wouldn't raise too many eyebrows if spotted. She's travel friendly and could easily be placed in a suitcase or large purse.
    • Discreet look/design
    • Ergonomic
    • Whimsical / artistic

Performance

I bought Ella solely for the g-spot end. I wanted her to teach me how to squirt on command - and she did just that! She glides in smoothly, perfectly hitting my g-spot every time. I love Ella! The first time I used Ella I was amazed how quickly she found my g-spot with no effort at all. And for once, my clit was of no consequence. My orgasm was deep and intense. I was in awe. I have squirted many times before but it's always been while having sex and while in conjunction with clitoral stimulation. Ella allows me to achieve an intense g-spot orgasm without any clit stimulation. I can now squirt on command - and I love it!

I cannot wait to get my vagina another LELO product!
    • Comfortable
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

Ella is very easy to take care of, and if properly cared for she will last you a lifetime of orgasms. Since she is made of silicone she can be sterilized. You can do so by either boiling her for a few minutes, placing her in the dishwasher(top rack, no soap), or by wiping her down with a bleach solution. Either way works great, however, if you're not into sharing then a good ole fashion scrub with soap and hot water will do just fine. There is a "LELO" logo embossed on her thrusting end so be sure to clean it extra carefully to ensure that no bacteria gets trapped. When cleaned up, you can place Ella in her white satin pouch to keep her from coming in contact with other materials that may harm her. If you plan to store her long-term, her original box works great for that.

Also, just a reminder that you should NEVER use silicone based lubricants with this dildo. It will permanently damage the material making it gummy.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Ella's packaging is just as classy and sophisticated as herself. She comes in a cardboard sleeve which has a picture of Ella one side and a few product features on the other - in 5 different languages. However, this can be tossed out. Inside that box is a sexy, high-quality black box with LELO written on top. It is made of a very durable cardboard and very discreet looking. The lid lifts off to reveal Ella cradled in her plastic casing. This can be tossed out as well. The heavy-duty box can be saved for storage and use to keep warranty pamphlets together. The presentation is is nice and would make a nice gift.

When you lift Ella and her casing out of the box you will find included a stylish white satin pouch, an instruction manual, and two warranty pamphlets. One explaining the 1 year warranty. If anything happens your toy outside of normal wear, it will be replaced free of charge. The other one is a 10 year warranty. If anything happens to it outside of the 1 year time period, the toy can be sent to LELO and they will give you another item at 50% off.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Very informative

Personal comments

You always remember your first. I'm proud to say that Ella was my first at a lot of things ~ first dildo; first g-spot toy; first silicone toy; first dual end toy; first LELO toy. But most importantly, Ella gave me my first g-spot orgasm without any direct clitoral stimulation. Ella will always hold a special spot in my heart.
Follow-up commentary
Dear Ella, I still love you! Ella has yet to let me down. She is just absolutely amazing! I keep her near for when I crave quick and amazing gushing orgasms. Placing a bullet against her transforms her into a vibrating dildo, and to me dildos and bullets go together like peas and carrots.

  • ella vs. others
    • I want to get ella as my first she doesn't seem as menacing as the others made of glass or metal but are those materials better sensation wise?
    • It comes down to personal preference, really. You're not going to know if glass or metal feels better to you until you try.

A couple things to keep in mind, though: glass and metal have absolutely no give, so they tend to feel bigger than silicone toys of the same size. They're also rather heavy in most cases, and so you need to be a bit more careful when you use them. Being too rough can result in internal bruising. They're very slick and smooth, though, unlike silicone which typically has some drag to it.

The Ella is pretty rigid for a silicone toy, but it's very light and easy to use. It's great if you're new to dildos. :)

I have not tried anything like that I hear alot of good things and alot of not so good things. its up to you to try and see what you prefer..

  • How Does Lelo Ella compare to Gigi?
    • I know that Ella doesn't vibrate, but are there many other differences? I am wondering whether the Ella might be a better shape or size for g-spot stimulation
    • i'm wondering this too. i bought gigi and was disappointed but ella seems even better should I or shouldn't I?

  • Would the Ella work well for a beginner?
    • I'm thinking of getting my bestfriend this for Christmas but she is new to toys. Would this be a good toy to give a newbie? I have not tried it myself so I'm not sure how easy it is to master.
    • I have the similarly shaped Gigi and found nothing but frustration when trying to thrust with it.
    • i think it would be a good option for a beginner.

  • I need help the Ella curve is doing me in.
    • I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have read every review and some twice. I can not figure this girl out. I want to write a review but, how can I write a review on something I do not get. Any ideas would be wonderful. Please help me enjoy this beautiful toy.
    • What do you not get about it? Not every toy works for every woman. Does it hurt to use? Maybe your vagina is too small for it yet or maybe you just need some lube. Do you not feel anything? Again, nothing is for everyone. Try sqeezing the toy by doing kegels when you use it. Some women say that makes things feel better. Or maybe try tilting it up towards your g-spot. That works for me with other toys.

I haven't used it yet. Just recently purchased a white Ella. And I can't wait! We've got the same name! :D
    • If you don't get it you can still write your review from that perspective. I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one who had that experience with it. I have the Ella and she's nice but she's not fireworks for me and that's ok. We all have different experiences with toys and that is what makes these reviews so valuable.

  • Dildo vs. Vibrator
    • I am having a hard time getting used to the idea of a dildo vs. a vibrator! As far as using one goes, how does one decide which is better for oneself? Just wondering and thanks!

What I mean by this I think is, is it easier with one than the other, or maybe does it require a different mind set or even is one better with partner play vs. solo? I don't know, LOL, just curious.
    • When we started with toys it was all about clit vibes for 'effective' reliable orgasms. But as we got into g-spot and a-spot stimulation, dildos have advantages over vibes because pressure is more important than vibes.

Now we almost always have some of both going on. A dildo for internal and a clit vibe for external - although she occasionally likes two vibes.

The only truism I've found is that what she wants/needs is different almost every time. I use to think 'this worked last time - so lets do it again' - but now I think 'we did that last time - what can I do to mix things up'.

That's why we have dozens of toys - both vibes and dildos.

  • Ella for beginners
    • Hey! I was just wondering if Ella would be something an absolute beginner could use, someone who's never gone looking for her g-spot before. She seems awfully tempting, but I wonder if I it's too advanced a toy for me?

Ella is perfect for beginners. I had tried several other G-spot toys before Ella. Ella was the first one that worked for me. Several people have had their first successes with Ella.

I'm glad Ella seems like such a successful toy! I hope she works for me, too <3

  • Ella and Gigi
    • I've had both the Ella and the Gigi sitting in my shopping cart for days now. I was wondering.. should I get them both, or should I maybe just get one to try, then maybe later on get the other if I want?

They both seem so worth it, it's hard to just pick one!

I just bought the Ella and have not tried it yet, but everyone seems to love it. I have had the GiGi for a couple of months and rarely use it, mainly because the control thing is located in the worst possible spot, and I invariably hit it and make the settings change! Argh! I also had no luck with it for g-spot stimulation, and the only times I get it out it is for clit work.

Even though I wasn't crazy about GiGi, it seems to do the job for a lot of people, so it might work for you. In fact, I bought it based on all the wonderful reviews. I've come to the conclusion that there is no one toy that will do the trick for everyone. Everyone is VERY different in their tastes and what they need.
    • I agree that no toy is good for everyone. I can not get a rabbit vibe that actually works for me by stimulating my clit and vag at the same time. Perhaps its operator error.
Anyway, I love the Gigi. I solved the control issue for me anyway by wiping the lube off the control and my fingers...success. The effectiveness of the Gigi is the vibe plus the design. I don't have the Ella, which is not a vibe but I see it as similar to many of the g spot dils available.
