The Rainbow Mega Nubby Double-Ended Dildo by Don Wands is a glass dildo that is exactly as it is described. With nubs located all over the toy in a variety of colors this a colorful and highly textured toy to have in your toy chest. Designed for vaginal stimulation you can use this on your own, or with a partner, depending on your preference. A word of caution if you use this with a partner. Have them thrust slowly, because of the rigidity of glass if the partner is too enthusiastic you can bruise or damage the vaginal walls or cervix.

This is not an intimidating toy and can be used by those just started to explore the world of glass toys. This was actually only my wife's second glass toy, and it has quickly become her favorite. It is not discreet by any stretch of the imagination, but the texture of the nubs are great for those who are looking to explore texture without having an overly girthy toy.

The Nubby Wand is made from Pyrex glass and rates a 10 out of 10 on the material safety scale at Eden Fantasys. It is hypoallergenic and used in medical and science fields, as well as in cooking materials. It is completely body safe.

Pyrex is a type of tempered glass that is less dense than normal glass, making it much less likely that it will splinter or shattering. If this were to break it would break in large pieces, and not in small pieces. So you should have no fear of using glass, you won't get a shard of glass breaking off during use. You should always check out glass toys before use and look for any cracks or splinters. If there are you should not use the toy. The glass used is very good for maintaining temperature and can be heated or cooled slightly before use without danger of damage.

One of the big pluses about this toy is the texture that is involved. There are small, raised nubs that extend from the toy all over the dildo, giving you a bumpy sensation when you are thrusting inside of the vagina. The nubs are made from different colors, with red, green, blue and orange making it visually attractive as well.

The Nubby Wand is 7 1/4" long. It can be used either way and while on the product page it says that about 6" of the toy is insertable we were able to have almost 6 1/2" inserted comfortably during play. The length of this toy is very good, is not overly long but still provides good stimulation. It can satisfy those who prefer a longer toy, and those who want something smaller/shorter since you control the length inserted and the thrusting. My wife thought she would prefer it at a more shallow depth, but has been surprised at how much she enjoys using the length.

It has a circumference of 3 1/2" with a diameter of 1 1/8". It is not a very girthy toy, but the textured nubs do add a little more texture/girth to the toy as one is using it. It is good for those who do not enjoy overly girthy toys, as well as those who are still beginners with glass as it is not overwhelming to handle.

This toy is not realistic at all. With the textured nubs and the design of the ends of the wand it really does look like a wand, albeit one from a messed-up fairy tale. The colors give it a whimsical vibe and it is not an intimidating toy at all. It is very easy to travel with, simply put it in a protective bag it can travel with one very easily. It is not a discreet toy, if it is out in the open people will have a good idea of what it is.

This toy is great for people who do not want an overly girthy toy, but one that still has a good deal of texture. We decided to try this toy after experimenting with our first glass toy, which at its' base had a two rows of raised nubs. My wife enjoyed the feeling of those nubs near her vaginal entrance and was interested in exploring this type of texture further. She is scared of very girthy toys, but with the circumference being only 3 1/2" she thought that she would be able to handle this easily.

Once it arrived she found that she loved the texture of the nubs located all along the toy. It was very stimulating upon insertion and with repeated thrusting. She also likes the firmness that one gets from the rigidity of a glass toy. Being able to control the depth of the thrusting was also a major plus for her, at times she enjoyed shallow thrusting with the texture and other times wants deep thrusting with the nubs stimulating her entire vaginal walls.

For those who get irritated by too much texture this will not be the right toy for them. There is a large amount of texture with this toy and if you are sensitive to texture this probably is not the toy for you. It was everything we were hoping it would be and are very happy with it, just enough texture without it being overwhelming.

Glass is very easy to clean and care for. You can boil this for complete disinfection, wash it with warm water and soap, use toy cleaner, toy wipes or antibacterial wipes. You can even run this through the dishwasher if you would like.

You can use any type of lubrication that you wish with this toy. Water-based and silicone lubricants would both work fine with this toy, as the integrity of the toy will not be degraded if you use silicone-based lubricant.

You should take some care with how you store this toy. It is a sturdy little toy, but if you were to drop it I would bet that it break rather easily. I would store it in a padded bag or pouch. In other reviews I have read with this toy, Don Wands used to include a padded pouch with the toy. That is no longer the case, no pouch is included. I also would not store multiple glass toys together because as they bump against each other there could be some damage done to the toys. Once in a pouch or bag it would be very easy to store in a toy chest or a night stand.

This arrived a cardboard outer shell, with a plastic clamshell case holding the toy on the inside. The outer cardboard was light grey, with the company name, and on the side pictures of various glass toys that they manufacture. The plastic clamshell is clear and you can see the toy through the packaging. It is not discreet packaging and if you were giving this as a gift it will be noticed.

The plastic clamshell while large can be used for storage. We used it for storage for a few weeks while waiting on a padded pouch/bag to come in stock for proper storage.

My wife loves this toy, she's now wondering why she's waited so long to begin experimenting with glass. The texture and feel of the toy is great without it being intimidating or overwhelming. I wish that a padded pouch would have been included, but otherwise we can't find any fault with this toy. It is a great value and already one of my wife's favorites.
