Ribbed by Doc Johnson

I'm starting to get more comfortable with the idea of really large toys, so when my new Doc Johnson Ribbed Dildo showed up, I was way excited. This toy made me think dirty, dirty thoughts, involving some of my larger past lovers, though of course none of them were bright blue with lovely ribbing up the sides. I was more than anxious to try it, so as soon as I got it home, I took my new friend out of his box, covered him in lube, and started playing.

It wasn't quite as easy as all that to actually get him inside me, though. As much as I knew he'd feel fantastic as soon as I was wet enough, when I first started I wasn't quite as ready as I should've been. Be aware that this isn't a toy you can just go to town with - it'll require a fair bit of warming up first. I grabbed my favorite clit vibrator, and the combination of playing with that and working the Ribbed slowly inside made it relatively soon after that that I actually got to fuck my new toy.

And was it ever so wonderful.

The ribbing on the sides not only looked delicious; I could definitely feel it doing impressive things inside me. With the combination of the external clit vibe and the Ribbed, within minutes I was over the edge. Anticipation not withstanding, this toy had definitely lived up to my expectations.

My only issue with this toy is that it has a bit of a funny scent to it that doesn’t go away when it’s washed. The packaging says “lightly scented,” which is actually true, but not in a good way. This doesn’t in any way actually detract from how well the toy actually performs, though, so I can’t in good faith rate it any lower. I’ll just throw in a cautionary note that if you’re sensitive to scents, this toy does have one.

Overall, I’ll rate this toy at five stars; it’s not complicated or over the top, but what it does, it does extremely well.
