Double the pleasure double the let down

The toy was fun and with more time i may learn to love it. My first experience has been one of mixed emotions on this toy. I want to try the larger one to see if this cures the problems with clumsiness, or if the toy was just a bad design. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners just starting to explore the world of doubles but for those a little more accustomed to such toys, it would most likely be amazing.

Use

When I first bought this toy I was so excited to get into double play with my partner. The beautiful pink color attracted me from the start (yes I'm a sucker for pink). The design seemed simple enough and the type of material made it seem good for a beginner. The toy doesn't have any hard parts to make you wince at the thought of thrusting, although it's difficult to do, and probably won't happen as you plan. Using it Hans Solo most likely won't happen either, due to the larger size of it. The toy is flimsy and has no resistance to flexing unless both ends are in use, and even then it is hard to get into place for both parties due to it being overly flexible.

Material / Texture

The over whelming stench of petroleum, even after several washings, still remained. The slick texture of the jelly make it better for play but if you are using it anally you will need lube. Since it is jelly the best types of lube to use are water based or silicone. I prefer silicone because of it being a little bit thicker and longer lasting when dealing with anal play. The flimsiness of the jelly makes it difficult to first get in when doing anal play. If you are looking for a more realistic toy, look elsewhere. Even the tip that is supposed to have a more realistic style falls short and looks more like a slimy bullet then the head of a dick.

Design / Shape / Size

The 12" double dildo fell short for me and my partner. I'm not sure if it was due to our inexperience with doubles or whether it was a problem with the toy itself. The width of the toy turned out to be perfect for both vaginal stimulation and anal play for my partner. The size of the toy makes it hard to hide or store in a typical setting, but that is typical in a double. Although the jelly material makes it easier to bend in order to store. The slim design of the toy did make it easier for use in the anal play unlike rough edged dildos that can be more uncomfortable. I would like to have tried the larger one to get better feeling for the size, the smaller 12" made it feel more awkward and clumsy then enjoyable.

Performance

The toy had several features that made it much more enjoyable then I first thought. The sleek design and seamless make of it made it great for sliding in and out of the anus without pain in any way. For my partner who was just starting to get into anal play it made it fun and enjoyable. Although I would not recommend it for normal use due to it not having the flared end to prevent it from going too deep; I highly doubt it would even be possible for someone to do that. As for vaginal play, it fell short. Although it was not too long to cause pain when thrusting, it did make it clumsy and awkward because of its shortness. Then again, this could be due to the lack of experience me and my other have.

Care and Maintenance

The jelly material used to make this toy has a few drawbacks. Anything that can stick to it will; this includes hair, lint, and anything else you can imagine to stick to it. Cleaning can be difficult. I have a lazy streak with cleaning and love my dishwasher; this toy is not compatible with that. Due to it being made of jelly material, you can't use extremely hot water on it. Since the size of it makes it hard to use condoms the best solution is using mild soap and warm water to just keep it clean. I cleaned mine before and after use to kill germs from sex and to also guarantee no hair or lint would be on it during use. The size of it makes it a little harder to store although there are storage boxes made to look like small "toy" boxes that come in sizes that can hold these. However, they won't keep it safe from the lint attacks.

Packaging

The double dildo comes in a clear plastic tight packaging. Although Eden does send it in a nice unmarked box, I suggest if you are trying to be discreet that you make sure to leave it in the box it comes in, or else everyone will see your new toy.

Personal comments

I'm excited to keep using this toy to try and become more accustomed to it. I've tried it several times and the clumsiness still has yet to disappear. I'm not sure if it's because I'm new at it or if it is just because the toy itself isn't good for those just learning. The sleek design of it made it great for us since we were also starting with anal play for my other. He seemed to be in love with it though. He truly found it to be a great toy, so maybe there is still hope. I'm excited to give it time and a few more tries. We will see if things change with my follow up review.
Follow-up commentary
This toy has become one of my better liked toys. Once you become used to the short size, it becomes an extremely intimate toy to use with your partner. The short size of the toy makes it great to snuggle closely together when in use. The girth being on the smaller size also makes it enjoyable for both beginning and more advanced users. It is a medium size and is great for both anal and vaginal play. (Please always clean your toys well). Overall, I would rate this toy as a 4.5.

    • So my partner and I have been looking into getting a feeldoe. Can anyone really tell me if they are worth the money? Are they hard to use or to learn to use? Thanks!
    • Here are my thoughts on the Feeldoe. We've had ours, a Feeldoe Slim, for a number of years now and in general like it.

      Some things to note: unless you have exceptional control it is not really a "harness free" dildo. We found it to be much more stable when it was in a harness, but that with that extra stability it worked great. It does provide some internal stimulation for the female wearer, and the vibes from the bullet carry nicely to the bulb end, but it only has one "on/off" setting. The Feeldoe is also not very soft as silicone toys go, still a good feel, and a nice weight for balance purposes.

      We've also found the bulb to be a nice handle of sorts for solo play.

      Is it worth it? I think we've probably gotten our money's worth out of it. I enjoy it, it's more interactive than your typical strapon, and it's a solid product that has lasted us over 5 years (and showing no real signs of wear).

      Still I'd be curious to try something like the: Share so I had a point of comparison. The design looks a little more developed than the Feeldoe.

      In either case, I think both would be probably best used with a harness. Other than that, they're not hard to use.
    • Boink pretty much said everything I could've said on the topic. I'd really like to try the Share at some point, because the internal part looks much easier to have a hold on. Either way, I'd recommend using it with a standard o-ring harness, just for better control. It's definitely quality, though, and it'll last for a long while.
