Mantric Sysil edge - double ended dildo discontinued by Mantric - review by deceased

As a chronic double dildo comparison junkie (and only the most premium silicone will do) I was compelled to test drive the Mantric Sysil:Edge.

I now have a new favorite double dildo, and you might too. As I usually do, I will give you a little too much techie info and no erotica.

The Sysil Edge (pronounced "sizzle") is brought to us by a British company called Bitemark MC Limited. I was unable to obtain their own website or a phone number or an address to talk with customer service. I do find that a little unusual. Bitemark manufactures adult novelties under the name Mantric. The company has been around since the early 2000's. They test their products on humans. Someone got really lucky with this ingenious product.

The Sysil looks like a gun you would see on the Sci Fi Channel if you hold it upside down by its "holding shaft". (That is wear the wearer inserts) There is more to this love gun than the usual double dil.

First, it's very non phallic. It doesn't look remotely like a penis. These life life features have been replaced with wavy, raised undulations around the thrusting shaft. The thrusting shaft is about five and a half inches insertable and about an inch and a half in diameter. It curves upwards, and feels plush, velvety, a little squishy yet very firm all at the same time. It holds lube very well (water-based) on its matte surface. The incredibly cool thing about the shaft is that the angle is adjustable, unlike other double dildos.

Sysil has a Flexeloc smart system - their patented adjustment system for adjusting the shaft's angle to create different possibilities for natural position experience thrusting.

Between the area that comes between the driver's holding shaft and the thrusting shaft is a wheel like device, almost like a hinge. There is a silicone chip you can push through from one side and out the other and adjust in any of three positions and then reinsert the chip to lock it into place at your chosen angle.

You can also use it without the locking chip for greater maneuverability (that was fun!) Bitemark was trying to create the perfect, anatomically correct strap on, and they may have just done it. You can do some lovely G or P spot stimulation with Sysil.

Another thing I look for in a strapless strap on is weight and the driver's seat. The insertion bulb is not as big as any Fun Factory product, it's not a diamond head like Happy Valley's Tango, or a shiny bulb like Vixen's Nexus series or Feeldoe's either. It's closest in shape to Fun Factory's Share, but it's smaller. And Mantric intends to come out with an even more petite version in the near future. The driver's holding shaft is not made to stimulate the G-spot, its shape is meant for maximum holding power by the PC muscles (or even a sphincter).

It's silicone is firmer than the thrusting shaft, and less flexible. It is still very velvety. It's about 3 1/2 inches long and not too thick (1 1/2 inches) so it is easy to retain - and it's lighter than Feeldoe, Share, and all but Nexus JR which is about the same weight.

Under the driver's seat is a bullet compartment. You slide the enclosed silver bullet in the well - no need for lubing. There is a tiny vent sitting in the middle of the clit bumper, which I might add is the most effective bumper on any double dildo I have tried. The vent makes it easy to squeeze the bullet out. The bullet comes loaded with three watch batteries, and has two spare sets. My bullet was dead, even after I changed batteries, so I used another toy's bullet. You can feel it if you are the driver, on your clit (or your balls) and the recipient can feel vibrations from the shaft, it's not a strong vibration, but it's another plus to this fantastic product.

Since it is silicone, you can boil it for 3 minutes after you remove the bullet, you can also put it in the top rack of a dishwasher or use antibacterial soap on it.

Condoms fit over both shafts easily. I always recommend the use of condoms .

I also tried this with a harness - the SpareParts one. It accommodated this quite perfectly.

You can also use this to masturbate, not just have strapless strap on sex or pegging. It's unisex, it's silicone (it's made in China), it's allergy and phthalates-free, and it's light enough to wear without a harness.

I think we will be seeing a whole lot more of this company in the future.

This is a lot of fun. I do with it was bigger, thick and maybe in black and silver. The color choices are way too feminine and the sizings a bit small. Though they were aiming for a strapless strap on and hit the mark on balance, form and function, if they were aiming for unisex, its too effeminate.
