Echo sex toy review

With lots of smooth lines, and, as described, it has a nice flat base so people into that kind of thing can use it with a strap on harness. So really, it's a three in one sex toy which makes it great value for money.

I was intrigued when I received the Echo strap-on dildo by Tantus given the fact it’s hollow to accommodate a vibrating bullet – so it’s a dildo and vibrator in one! Bonus!

The packaging wasn’t particularly exciting, and I don’t think it had enough guidance on the item. For example, it doesn’t tell you how to activate the vibrating bullet. Common sense will tell you that you remove the plastic tab to allow the batteries to make a connection, and then press the button; but sometimes it is better just have instructions so you know for sure.

My initial thought on opening it up was that it looked very nice, not intimidating, with lots of smooth lines, and, as described, it has a nice flat base so people into that kind of thing can use it with a strap on harness. So really, it’s a three in one sex toy which makes it great value for money. It’s a nice size and material, it’s pliable so it doesn’t feel uncomfortable when you’re using it, but it’s also stiff enough to do the job!

I think its primary use is as a dildo, so I will score it based on that. It looks good; the shape and size are great. I think it’s important to have ‘normal sized’ dildos available; there are so many scary-looking ones on the market that it is almost an embarrassment for a woman to admit owning one. But this one is definitely not an embarrassment. It is great fun either alone or with a partner and is really easy to clean. One thing to bear in mind is that you can only use it with non-silicone based lubricant. This probably isn’t an issue for most people, given the fact many people purchase water-based lubricant, as it doesn’t usually stain and is condom friendly.

Overall this is a great sex toy, and the only reason I’m not giving it top marks is because of the lack of direction on the packaging.

  • That Perilous Base on Tantus Strap-On Compatibles
    • Okay, someone please tell me I'm not the only person in the world to have this happen. I was enjoying the Echo, and after I finished enjoying the Echo, I had my freaking finger stuck in the bullet hole on the bottom of the Echo. And by stuck, I mean STUCK! It took several slightly-panicky minutes to escape.

So, um, please tell me I'm not the only one?

We can't get our bullets out of some of the Tantus toy holes. Which is annoying, but also not a human body part.

Easiest way to make sure you can get it out - a couple drops of lubricant in the hole before you start playing. Then it'll slide out really nicely. (Your finger or bullet)

Yeah, I agree! I don't even know exactly how or when I stuck my finger in there in the first place. It certainly wasn't planned, and I sure felt foolish.
