Ella Not-Quite-Enchanting

Ella is a quality-made silicone product that is good for beginning and experienced toy users alike. However, Ella just couldn't enchant me with her small size and incompatible design with my anatomy. She stabbed at me her long with end and would catch at me the other making for a frustrating experience.

Use

Ella is a sleek, premium solid silicone g-spot double-ended dildo made by Lelo for your delight. One end is elongated and pointed for pin point thrusting while the other end is flat and broad for a wider area of stimulation and g-spot thrusting. However, use caution when thrusting with the pointed end for this silicone is firm and without much give which could lead to bruising. Also, I recommend exercising caution if trying this toy anally because there is no flared based, and it could definitely get lost. It's great for solo play or play with a partner. Either you or your partner can use Ella as a warm up toy for bigger coming attractions or for g-spot stimulation. Small and elegant with a satin carrying pouch, Ella can easily travel in a purse.

Material / Texture

Out of box, Ella, being made out of premium silicone, possessed no taste or smell to my notice. The silicone is firm and solid and does not bend under pressure. The texture is a matte finish with a almost-velvety feel to it causing some drag in use. When used with lubricant, it has a smooth glide against skin. I have not noticed it being too much of a lint collector compared to other silicone toys. On each side of the dildo, there is an engraving of the company name, Lelo, but this was not noticeable during use.

Design / Shape / Size

Ella is a dual-sided dildo that has two rather differently-designed ends. The elongated, pointed end is good for pinpoint thrusting and probing. The other end is short with a broad, flat end that is specifically designed for g-spot spot stimulation. The broad, short end is a good way to start for a beginner in finding their g-spot in that it can give firm pressure over a wider area.

The size of Ella is on the small end at 1 1/4" diameter making it easy for just about everyone to use. Beginners or those not fond of a larger girth should generally have no problem handling Ella. Those looking for a girthy product will likely find that this toy isn't going to get that job done though.

More experienced users can find enjoyment in the ability of this dildo to provide exacting g-spot stimulation and also as a warm up to a bigger toy if they so desire. This certainly isn't a realistic-looking product so at sudden glance the inexperienced might not now what is sitting on your bedside table, but it certainly might raise questions.

Ella comes with satin pouch that makes for convenient storage and could easily be thrown into a purse or clutch for fun on the go.

Performance

Lelo crafted this toy well; I found not a single production flaw. It is nice piece of silicone. However, when it came to the design for me, I found the pointed end was just too pointy when combined with such a firm silicone. You'll need to keep in mind your cervix when using this end. During use, it was all great and then after I would realize that maybe things weren't so great. You could do some damage with this toy. When using it, I found that the I the only way I really enjoyed it was to use some force, and while good at the time, it would leave me sore later.

As for the short, blunt end, it just really didn't do much for me. The pressure needed for me to really get my g-spot wasn't worth the amount of discomfort I would get after the fact due to the firmness of the silicone. Using a dragging motion with end helped a bit but, really just wasn't enough for me to get into it. For me I think I my body finds more pleasure in a girthy toy that I can really clench my body around. If you enjoy exact pinpoint stimulation, Ella is probably going to work much better for you. Also on occasion, the curved end can get caught on the pubic bone when inserted. The short end flat can also be used to stimulate the clitoris but, on my own, I found it to be awkward and not fulfilling.

Care and Maintenance

As a solid silicone toy, Ella can be washed with soap and water or given a wipe down with your favorite toy wipe. Ella can also be sterilized by boiling in water, spraying with a bleach solution and water, or being thrown into the dishwasher minus the dishwasher soap. When cleaning, take notice to the Lelo engraving along the sides because gunk likes to get stuck in there.

Ella is a silicone toy so do not use silicone lubes because it could cause silicone degradation.

This toy can easily be stored just about anywhere. I like to keep her in her pouch and throw her my underwear drawer.

Packaging

Lelo packaged up Ella very well. She came to me in in pink outer covering box which, when removed, revealed a solid black box with the Lelo logo in silver across the top. Lifting the lid off this box shows Ella in a foam insert. Within the box, you will also find a satin pouch to place your Ella if you do not wish to store it in the box. I felt that it was nicely packaged for a sexy gift to that special someone.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

Experience

Despite being a well-crafted toy, Ella just didn't quite do it for me. Thrusting vaginally with the pointy end led to bruising and the girth was too small for me to find filling. The blunt g-spot end just could not hit the mark for me and thrusting, at times, would cause me to pee myself (not to confused with squirting). This was probably due to the amount of pressure I needed to use to find the thrusting stimulating because of her smaller size. Trying to stimulate my clit with G-spot end was just frustrating. In end, Ella just leaves me wanting instead of enchanted despite her her lovely form.
