Glo Smooth - dildo discontinued by Lover's Choice Inc. - review by Enna

When I got the Glo Smooth, the first thing I noticed was the box. It was elegant, but not particularly sophisticated. The black box has a titillating little window, covered with a flap that seals with a magnetic closure. The result being that the box does not reveal too much, but the product can be seen quite easily. My Glo Smooth did come with directions for using a vibrator, which I found strange as there are no vibrating features to the toy.

The Glo Smooth is made entirely out of Japanese silicone, meaning that it is both safe and pleasant to touch. I clean mine with a gentle detergent and water, but it could just as easily be boiled or put in the dishwasher. It is smooth to the touch, but does have a small seam. While in my hands it is easy to see and feel, I have not felt the seam while the toy is inside me. The Glo Smooth is not too rigid; it bends slightly, but is by no means flaccid.

Now, to get down to the good stuff. I found that the smooth dildo was pleasurable. Although it does not emulate the feeling of being fucked by a real dick, it still fills quite pleasantly. The toy is narrow, not as filling as some other toys I have used, but it has a slight bulb at the end. The narrowing and then widening of the shaft provides pleasant stimulation and variety.

As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no flaring to the base of the toy so it is hard to grip. The thing I found useful was the cap for the cavity the glow stick goes into. It can be pulled on to pull the toy out, and pushing in is never a problem.

I have used this toy both, by myself and with a partner. I find it more pleasing with a partner, as he or she can use more leverage and longer arm reach to fuck with it. Alone it fills, and with a vibrator it can certainly contribute to an orgasm, but there are easier toys to play with solo.

Now for the glow stick. It fits into its cap quite well, and slips easily into the dildo. The entire dildo glows, an impressive and interesting thing. When being fucked with it, it creates a strobe effect dampening the light in and brightening out. My only problem with it was that it says it glows for two hours. Mine glowed all night. While that is great if you and a partner are pulling an all-nighter, I had to shove it in a drawer so I could sleep. Then again I am sensitive to light. Overall I would say the glow stick is fun, but unnecessary to the fun of the toy.
