G-spot - strap-on dildo by Tantus - review by tajasel

The G-Spot is a really simple toy; it's a pure silicone dildo, hand poured by Tantus, and it simply has a recess in the bottom that takes bullet vibrators if you choose. It is a girthy toy, and as it was the very first dildo I bought, I was slightly scared by it at first, although I quickly learned that the best way to manipulate it was to angle it gently in with lots of (water based!) lube and slide it in gently.

I wouldn't say this is a great toy for absolute beginners, or anyone who knows they're on the tight side, but beyond that, it's a fabulous product. As it has a flared base, it could be used anally, though it's obviously shaped specifically for g-spot stimulation. The flared base also makes it suitable for use in strap-on play, and the silicone material means it's boilable for cleaning, and freezable for temperature play.

There is no distinct smell or taste to the product. It is not sticky, and the silicone is firm, glossy and has an almost marbled effect. The purple variety is more lilac than a deep purple. Being silicone, it's not porous, so with rigorous cleaning (boiling, toy cleaner or soap and water) it is sharable (although of course using a condom is the best move by far).

The design looks slightly odd at first, it has to be said, and it's VERY obviously a dildo - no leaving this on the side and getting away with it, although you quickly get used to it and understand why it is the shape it is. Each bump and twist in the toy pushes against the G-spot in a slightly different way, giving awesome amounts of pleasure. It's a little girthier than I expected when I bought it, and I was a little fearful of it at first, but when I'm relaxed and wet enough, it slides right in, and I'm a big fan of those kegel exercises so I'm relatively well to-do on the tightness scales.

The shape of this toy really makes it for me. It hits my G-spot from about three different angles, and if you were ever in any doubt of that sweet little area's existence, you won't be after you play with the Tantus G-spot. Then, of course, there's the hole for the bullet to enter; once this toy is deep inside you and you have a strong bullet going, you'll be in heaven. I haven't personally tried it in a harness, though the flared base makes that possible.

The Tantus G-spot is incredibly easy to care for; you can easily boil or clean it with a soft cloth and warm soapy water or sex toy cleaner if you prefer. It's important not to store it alongside other silicone toys though, and never to use silicone lube with it as silicone "eats" silicone and will affect the lovely smooth feel of the toy.

When I received my toy (four years ago now), it came in a simple clear plastic packaging; it wasn't over the top, no cardboard descriptions of it or unnecessary leaflets - just the toy. As an added bonus, the plastic was recyclable.
