Firm, functional but maybe not memorable

Goliath is a super firm dildo with a nice shape, a beautiful head and a space for a vibrating bullet. For those looking for a large, very firm dildo, this is the one. Just be aware that for many people Goliath may be too firm for such a sizable toy.

Use

This is the toy for those who want a larger firm (very firm) dildo made of a quality material. Goliath offers a big, firm head, a veined shaft and a hole in the base for a bullet for those who want a little vibration near the base.

Material / Texture

Goliath is made of nonporous ultra premium silicone. It's quite firm with textured veins on the shaft providing a small amount of extra stimulation. It takes effort to bend this one. I believe it's the most firm Tantus dildo I've seen.

The purple one has a shimmery metallic finish that's just beautiful. Goliath's surface is a more even mix of metallic black and purple than other metallic looking Tantus toys I've seen. Its just beautiful.

Design / Shape / Size

Goliath's head is five and three quarters inches in circumference. He's seven inches long, almost all of which is insertable. Goliath is largely realistic, but with an enlarged, bulbous head.

There is a lightly flared base, making Goliath harness compatible and anal safe. Veins run along the shaft for extra texture.

Goliath doesn't fall over when stood on its base, a feature that could be handy if you want to put it down while keeping the head clean during use. He leans, but doesn't fall. This is probably so he'll be at a useful angle when used in a harness.

Goliath's shape strongly resembles the O2 Revolution. Goliath just has a somewhat shorter head and a shorter shaft. But the materials used for these two products are quite different.

A hole in the Goliath's base accommodates a standard bullet. A bullet, along with the watch battery that powers it, are included.

Performance

While Goliath may look quite a bit like an O2 Revolution, it doesn't feel like one. The Revolution has a soft outer coating, while Goliath is firm silicone throughout. Very firm silicone.

It doesn't feel anything like the O2 Revolution. The head doesn't seem to offer as much drag across your G-spot. It offers a good experience, just not quite the level of experience of the Revolution. But it also doesn't share the Revolution's high price tag.

I tried it with a bullet inserted. Be sure to lubricate the bullet first or it will be incredibly difficult to remove. As I expected, the vibrations were concentrated near the base of the toy and didn't transmit to the head. I don't always insert dildos very far so this extra vibrational feature is wasted on me. For those who insert the toy fully, it could be just what is needed.

Care and Maintenance

Goliath is made of ultra premium silicone and is therefore nonporous and easy care. Simply wash and dry after use. It can be stored without wrapping in plastic. It won't interact with other toys. Goliath isn't soft enough to become dented if another firm toy presses against it during storage.

This toy can be boiled or rinsed with a ten percent bleach solution to sterilize it.

Its probably best to stick to water based lubes with Goliath, but I suspect that the silicone in Goliath is of high enough quality that you could use a silicone lube with it. Just test on the base of the toy first.

Personal comments

Even though I was excited to receive Goliath, I found that he didn't measure up to his big brother the O2 Revolution. Perhaps I'm just too used to the wonderfulness that is the Revolution.

I believe Goliath's downfall is his incredibly unyielding firmness. I've noticed that Tantus seems to make its larger toys (Squirt, Goliath) very firm and its smaller toys (Curve, Acute) soft. I'm mystified about why they do this. It should be the other way around.

If Goliath were softer he would be sensational. As it is though, he's just an OK toy. Solid, good, usable, reasonably functional, but possibly not a toy you'll look forward to using repeatedly.

This is very useful. Thanks for the review since this was on my wishlist and I'm not so sure I would like the firmness combined with the size.

Yes. If you can afford it the O2 Revolution is a better choice.

Great review. O2 is a bit different from the regular silicone blend, so I understand why it's so firm.

Dang! I *did* want this, but I'm no fan of super firm dils. Thanks for the warning

    Very nice review and video!

Yeah, the Goliath is no longer on my wishlist. I would think that Tantus would make this squishier, compared to some of their other stuff, which should be firmer. I guess there should be a happy medium.

Also, that O2 color is GORGEOUS!

Great review, good to know it is a very firm dildo esp since it is on the larger side.

Great review, thanks! I was looking at this because it seemed very similar to the revolution, but I think I will save up for the O2!
