The Amazing Swirls double ended dildo is just that, amazing. I have used nothing else since I got it. Of course, that won't last and I will go back to old favorites and try new things, but right now I'm quite obsessed with it. Would this hold up to very hard use?

The question is rather would the orifice hold-up to a very hard use with this toy. The swirls may look gentle but in practice they might be too extreme for hard thrusting. Plus, like with every hard toy there is a danger of bruising the cervix if you thrust too deeply and forcefully inside a vagina.

Any idea if you can warm these and if so can they get so hot to burn?

You can heat it up by placing it under hot water. You might be able to run it under boiling water and it could burn if you use it straight away, but it won't be able to get that hot otherwise.

Pretty much all glass toys can be warmed, potentially to burning levels.
Use hot water that your hand can stand the touch of to prevent burns.
