Slim Jim - dildo by Happy Valley - review by ladykay

Slim Jim is a smallish dildo with a great G-spot curve. It's made of smooth, very firm silicone and comes in several colors (mine is black).

When this dildo arrived it had a light sweet scent, clearly added by the manufacturer. But after washing it twice and leaving it out to dry, the smell went away. Now it's completely odorless, like silicone should be.

I really love the G-spot curve on this toy! The head is also a great size and shape. The texture on the shaft is pretty subtle-- I can only feel it sliding in, not once the toy is already inside. I'd call this toy a classic: easy to use, feels good, works on its own or in a harness. This is also the first dildo I've strapped on, and it was great. The base is large and sturdy enough to hold it steady but not bulky or uncomfortable. I also like that I can stand it up on my bedside table. I haven't tried this toy anally, but I'm pretty sure it would be good-- especially for those with a P-spot. If I had one, you bet I'd try it.

The Slim Jim is easy to clean: I just wash it off with soap and warm water. It can also be boiled for sharing between partners, after anal use, or just to make sure it's completely clean. Because it's so smooth it doesn't take much lube, but it should always be used with water-based lube since silicone lube might react with the material in a bad way.

It's also easy to store-- I just throw it in the box by my bed with my other toys. It comes in a plain plastic pouch, no box at all, so the packaging is no good for storage. There are also absolutely no instructions, not that it really needs them. A note on the material would have been nice.
