Ella by Lelo is a luxurious double-ended dildo meant to be used vaginally by women to stimulate their g-spot with the flat-headed end. The other end, which is more pointed, can be used for thrusting either vaginally or anally if you make sure you have a good hold on it.

This dildo is great for beginners because it is simple to use and versatile but size queens or those very experienced in g-spot play may become bored with the Ella.

Your partner can use this to tease and torment before getting down and dirty or you can use it on yourself for a g-spot exploration session. It is suggested to cover this with a condom if sharing or sterilize between uses.

Silicone is also known for retaining heat pretty well so warm this up in some warm water before using to get some temperature play.

The Ella is made from silicone which has a 10/10 safety rating. It is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, phthalates free and non-porous. Silicone also repels dirt and bacteria and retains heat. There was no odor upon opening the box and the Ella is matte black in appearance and has a velvety, smooth feel to it.

Silicone tends to grab on skin fairly easily so lubricant will be needed to glide this around comfortably. It is suggested to only use water based lubricant with silicone toys so as not to destroy the material. You can always do a quick patch test with silicone lubricant if you prefer to use that kind.

Ella is available in Rose, Black and White.

Ella starts out with a 1 1/2" long flat g-spot head which tapers down to a 1" in diameter curved neck. The neck then leads into a 1 1/4" in diameter hand grip/tapered point end. The overall length of Ella is 7" with an insertable length of 5".

There are no gaps or seams but this dildo does have "Lelo" imprinted on the side of the hand grip end. This cannot be felt during use, only by running your fingers over it.

As a g-spot dildo the Ella did not do much for me other than make me achy internally. Not really my idea of fun or pleasurable. I think Ella is just too flexible in the neck to get the right amount of pressure to positively stimulate my g-spot. My Pure Wand is rigid enough to achieve this so I think I'll stick to rigid g-spot toys wherever possible.

The opposite end of Ella, the tapered pointed end, proved useful in thrusting and when paired with external clitoral stimulation it was enough to reach orgasm. So all in all this toy was not a total bust which makes me happy because I can still get some use out of it.

Ella is waterproof so cleaning is a snap. Just wash with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner or wipe it down with a toy wipe. Sterilize by boiling Ella for three minutes or toss it in the dishwasher.

The Ella came with a black satin storage pouch with drawstring closure so just put it in that and store with your other toys in your drawer, on a shelf or storage box.

Ella came in a black heavyweight box with "Lelo" imprinted on the top. It opens up to the Ella sitting in a black plastic tray and covered with a clear plastic tray. Take all that out of the box and you find the storage pouch, one year warranty, user manual and a sample packet of Lelo Personal Moisturizer (which I have yet to try).

The packaging is very discreet and gift-worthy but it is too bulky for storage. You would be better off just using the included storage pouch on its own.

I was really hoping Ella would rub my g-spot in all the right ways but the lack of rigidity just didn't help at all. Oh well, at least she's still useful in other ways.

I was very excited to receive Ella and give her a try but I was a bit disappointed when she didn't really do much for my g-spot. Oh well, at least I'm learning about what my g-spot prefers and I can still use Ella's other end for thrusting while externally stimulating my clitoris. She still has a place next my Mimi in my bedside table regardless of her g-spot fail.
