Inked glass probe - dildo by Cal Exotics - review by Sera

All I can think of while writing this is how beautiful this dildo seemed to me when I first opened it. The glass is so smooth, and though you can feel just slightly the raised "inked" artwork on it, it is quite the pleasurable toy to use. It's great for G spot massage, vaginal stimulation, and maybe some anal too, as long as you remain careful as too not lose it, as it has no flared base. It is a double ended dildo, in a way. It has some variations for use, and you can pick your favorite, but mine is definitely vaginal masturbation with this toy, or with a partner. This would be a great toy to use anywhere, and anytime, depending on your mood and whereabouts. Safety precautions might include that it doesn't have a flared base, and the tattoo could be a possible hazard, due to the advice that includes its "flake-ability," but this is no concern of mine. I know that this toy is presented as safe by California Exotic Novelties and that it is easy to clean, to sterilize or to put in the dishwasher, even. There are plenty of good qualities about it, even though you might need to be careful about bruising your cervix if you use it too roughly.

I got some really great impressions from the material on this one. The glass is so smooth, and it does have a realistic head and feel to it. It has no smell, as glass almost never does, it is tasteless, and it is whimsical as well in my opinion. The material and texture stimulate so well, and are firm as well as fit perfectly.

This is a non-porous, phthalates-free, hypo allergenic, and food grade material toy, as well as latex free. It's made of tempered glass, so the tattoo has been baked fully into the glass and should not come off at all during sexual use. Oddly though, according to other contributors, and to the manufacturer himself, The ink can come off after cheap razor blades scrape it off, and the ink can apparently come off with scotch tape, although I'm sure that no one is going to buy this dildo intending to scrape the ink off with a razor blade or try to get it with scotch tape. I tried the scotch tape theory and razor blade theory myself, and the scotch tape did in fact take a few chips off, but oddly using the razor blade, it took a long time to get one chip off. It seemed like a silly idea for me even to try to get any pieces off, but I wanted to see what would happen and also wanted my readers to know that I did try it myself.

Also I tried using a condom on this toy to protect from potential flaking, but I found that the condom interfered with the feeling of the toy, as some parts of it are thinner than others. I could not feel the probe part so well, although the head of the dildo (I rolled the condom on from this side, although as this is a double ended dildo you could roll it on from the probed side) and it's feeling was not affected as much. You could definitely use a condom if you are worried about safety.

I love the shape. At a good length of 7 1/2 inches, I was thrilled with it. Although the product page says that the insertable length is only 2 inches, I find it hard to believe that one would buy this wonderful toy and only insert 2 inches of it. Is this because of the decal? I don't quite know, but that part was a little confusing.

There is a circumference of 3 1/4 inches for this toy, a diameter of 3 inches, and a good weight of 8 ounces. The weight was a bonus for me, and added a wonderful feeling of the perfect heaviness to make the masturbation a great experience. Although it's kind of cold going in, it quickly warms to my body temperature. The experience is exhilarating every time.

For this toy, I preferred the smooth head, but did like the probe a lot. The head was slightly angled, as a real penis would be, so that it reached my G spot quite effectively. The shape of this dildo really made it amazing, and whoever designed it was a genius. The options you have in the shape are nice, because you can choose between a probe and a realistic looking glass head and shaft, and both feel wonderful.

It's also easy to maneuver in hand while in use, even if your hand and the toy are both covered in lubricant. You may need to keep a grip on it, because it'll slip if you're holding it too loosely, but it is easy to handle for the most part.

The artwork on this toy is what I was mainly attracted to when I first found the dildo, because it's got that "bad girl" effect that I love. That effect is what makes me love this toy and what makes me keep wanting to fuck it.

Overall, I can't find any cons at all. Personally, although some might worry about the decal coming off or maybe that it doesn't have a flared base and that I don't recommend it for anal. It performed completely up to my expectations, or, maybe a bit higher! Overall, I am completely satisfied and thrilled with this toy.

This toy is perfectly easy to clean. You can wash it with soap and water. You can also boil it and it can be easily sanitized in the dishwasher. I boil mine to clean it, and the decal does not come off.

A water based lube is what the packaging itself even recommends for "maximum pleasure," but I'm sure that it is fine to use any lube, since this material is non porous and it is easy to get the lube on and off. Also, a patch test is recommended for the decal's sake if you decide to use another type of lubricant on it, if you are unsure of the decal coming off because of the lubricant. My take on it is that it is safe, just because of the fact that it did take a lot of abuse when I boiled it.

To store this dildo, I would store it in a good soft and protective place, such as a nice drawstring bag like the ones sold here on Eden Fantasys, or if you are not able to afford that, a bright and colorful sock! I have mine stored in a sock.

Since I never wear matching socks, and am always wearing exotic mismatched pairs like yellow with black zebra stripes and pink socks with the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland, I have mine stored in an orange sock with black cats all over it! The exotic socks are all different, and I store each of my dildos in a different one so I have come to know which sock holds which toy.

The packaging is what you call a "clam shell," and each side folds to encompass the toy completely, although the plastic doesn't make a safe or protective storage barrier at all. The molded package does, however, perfectly cover the dildo, as a perfect fit.

The packaging "paper" inside of the clam shell is red, and has some neat artwork on it, like the font that "Inked Glass" is in, although it does not say Probe after it. It says "Designed for Intimate Pleasure" and "Smooth and Seamless" on it, as well as the manufacturer, the registration site for the product (www.vibetromics.com) and has a Safe and Pure logo on it. It tells you that this is a hand blown dildo, and that each and every one is unique and adorned with linked stylings. It also has the water based lube recommendation and recommendation to clean before and after every use, which I'm sure everyone would do anyway. The packaging really explains a lot.

I loved the design on this dildo! It was perfect for my tastes, and it reminded me slightly of a sailor-girl's dildo. I get that dark sexy and edgy vibe looking at it. This is a pretty cool toy.
