Inked glass shaft - glass dildo discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Kayla

The Inked Glass Shaft is a glass dildo made by California Exotics that includes a decal that is on the side to give a "tattoo" look. This glass dildo includes a flat, even base, but there's another version that includes a handle instead of the flat base.

The packaging for the Inked Glass shaft is pretty. It's a plain red packaging that shows the toy through the packaging as well as talks about the different features of the Inked Glass Shaft. This box seems to protect it well enough for shipping, but due to the fact that it's much larger than the dildo itself, I probably wouldn't use this packaging for long-term storage. It does not come with a bag for storage, so make sure to think about that before purchasing. I highly recommend the Toy Pouches here on EdenFantasys.

As far as glass goes, I am really, really surprised by how light-weight this glass is. It definitely appears to NOT be hollow, but I think the glass's light-weight aspect comes from the fact that it is made from tempered glass instead of Pyrex glass like many other glass alternatives. I did, however, try banging up against portions of my desk for durability trials, and it lasted just fine. It did get a crack nor chip off at all. I will say that the decal does smell though. The scent goes away pretty easily after the first couple washes, but when you first take it out of the packaging, the decal has this odd chemical smell that was not a pleasant experience.

One of the neat things that I love about glass dildos is the fact that they are so smooth. This makes it so you have to use barely any lubricant at all. This is one of my favorite aspects of all glass dildos, and this is why I keep coming back. The Inked Glass Shaft is the same. The decal does not absorb lubricant, and while it can be felt with your finger, it can not be felt during use. It glides with lubricant just like the rest of the dildo. Each glass dildo is usually hand-made, and this one is as well. The packaging doesn't say anything about temperature play, but like most glass toys, this one should be able to be placed in cool or warm water to change the base temperature of the dildo itself.

This is a surprisingly small dildo. Most glass dildos have a larger diameter and have a longer length as well. Make sure to view the Actual Product Size widget before purchasing as you may find yourself with a smaller dildo than what you were hoping for. I actually enjoyed the size, and I found that it made it easy to insert. Larger-diameter glass dildos, because of how rigid glass it, can sometimes be painful to insert, but this one was extremely easy to insert.

I can't say that the g-spot curve hit my g-spot though. It didn't really brush up against it either. As it isn't supposed to hit the g-spot, this is not a downside, but it doesn't hit it for me. The bulb of the dildo is a bit large, but it definitely has that interesting "popping" sensation during insertion once you get it inserted. It also can be used for brushing up against sensual areas as it's very large and very firm. It definitely feels a whole lot different than the slim shaft of the dildo.

The Inked Glass Shaft dildo can easily be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap. I haven't had any issue with the decal pealing off during cleaning, and I don't think this dildo could be boiled either. I haven't tried it, but bleach may harm the decal, so try it at your own risk. For storage, I recommend purchasing a padded storage bag for optimal storage, and this dildo is compatible with any type of lubricant.

Overall, I like the small size of the Inked Glass Shaft. It feels pleasurable, and if other glass toys seem too long or too wide for you, this dildo works well. The decal doesn't peal off, and it looks really cute. If you want a cute, sexy dildo that works well for insertion, this one does a good job.
