The Icicles No. 17 is a glass dildo for internal stimulation, which you can do by thrusting or rocking. It can be used for stimulating your g-spot too because it is curved with a nice round head. Since it's glass it can be used in the water or out of the water and it is totally body safe. It can also be used for temperature play (put it in warm or cold water and it will retain the heat). I wouldn't thrust this toy too hard though, because it is rather large and it could bruise your cervix. It has a flared base so it could be used for anal, but I haven't tried that. However, the curve may cause difficulties in that situation. I think this toy is best suited for solo play, but if used in couple play, make sure you communicate (glass can hurt).

The material for the Icicles Nom. 17 is borosilicate glass, which is a 10 on the EF safety scale; it is non-porous, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, latex-free and phthalate-free. The glass is firm. It is also fragile, so if dropped on a hard surface, it will break (like most glass). If you do drop it and it breaks, it won't shatter. Because it is glass, it can be used for temperature play because it holds temperature (hot or cold). It will also warm up to your body heat as well. Also, there is no smell or taste to this glass.

The Icicles Nom. 17 has no texture. It is very smooth and very solid, with a bit of a bulbous head. This is a good dildo if you do not like textures or are new to the glass dildo world.

This toy is gorgeous. The majority of it is a deep dark blue that looks really cool in the light. The head of this toy is clear with a yellow realistic looking flower in it (which is totally cool right?). The basic shape of this toy is a smooth curved shaft with a very, very slight S curve (or that is what it looks like). This curve could be used for stimulating the g-spot (it depends on your anatomy as usual), but this curve might work better than other glass toys. The bottom has a flared base that is off centered which provides an artistic touch. The flowered top is very rounded. You could seriously stand this dildo up on your desk as a piece of art. People might know what it is, but you could persuade them else wise or play naive. It doesn't look realistic or anything, very artistic, but the general shape might be a give away (it depends how smart your friends are?). Although I wouldn't try to travel with it, it's a little too big.

The length of this toy is about 8 1/2 inches high and many people have said you can insert 8 inches, but that seems like a lot to me (maybe I'm crazy). Anyways insert as much as you can without hurting yourself; I guess up to 8 if you can. The head of the dildo is 1 5/8 inches in circumference, and since this is glass there is no give, so you are going to need lube for this one (be careful and don't hurt yourself). The shape is simple and there are no textures. Beginners could try this toy, but head is a little large so they might have trouble. However, the rest of the shafts diameter is a bit thinner. It is however wide enough to give a filling sensation.

This toys’ shape is really nice. I like the rounded head because a lot of other toys have pointed tips on them and they look uncomfortable. This toy is also very filling. However, the rounded head is a little big in circumference and it took me time to insert this one. I was careful because I didn't want to hurt myself, but it did end up hurting a little. Once inserted it was easy to thrust and the curve of this toy worked decently; I think I might of hit some spots. I wish the head was a little smaller just so it was easier to use and not as intimidating. The flared base makes it easy to grip though and you can tell if the head moves out of place because the base is off centered itself. I also used a clitoral vibrator while using this toy because I haven't discovered yet how to not do that and it worked quite well.

So I'll start of by saying, don't throw this toy around. It won't completely shatter if it lands on a hard surface, but you don't want a broken toy, do you? For storage, I store mine in the Styrofoam box it came in (without the rest of the box it came in, so currently there is nothing covering it). I wish I had another bag to store it in though (maybe I'll make one), because it is a little difficult to take it out of the Styrofoam box. You could also display it as a piece of art for a storage technique?

Cleaning is pretty easy. You can just run some soap and water over it while scrubbing. You could also use a toy cleaning solution or wipes. You can share it if you sanitize it; just put in some 10% bleach solution, throw it in the dishwasher, or boil it. Just be careful because extreme temperature changes could damage it. Also, all lubes are ok with this toy!

The Icicles No. 17 comes in a nice white and black box with pictures of the toy on the sides and on top. The top is magnetic and is lifted to show a plastic panel displaying the toy (there is also some general info on the back of the box). Opening the box was frustrating but I did it somehow. The toy was firmly held in a Styrofoam block. I think it is a little difficult to remove the toy from the Styrofoam and I'm a little sad that there isn't a bag for this toy. Maybe I'll pick up sewing so I can make a bag for this toy.
