Great Glass Almighty!

The Deep Water G dildo is a starter toy. It doesn't have any bells and whistles, and it's not fancy. However, it is a very pretty toy that is not intimidating, and it gets the job done. The Deep Water G is perfect as a first toy, for trying something different, or for getting back to basics. This dildo might be a bit boring to advanced toy users, but for me, this is one of my new favorites.

Use

The Deep Water G is a fabulous toy for all first-timers. It was my first glass toy, my first non-vibrating dildo, and my first G-spot dildo as well. Since it's a glass dildo, it will be great if you're into temperature play. Its varied shape and textures make it an excellent one-for-all vaginal toy. However, it doesn't have a wide base for safe anal use, so please use cautiously.

Material / Texture

This beautifully smooth borosilicate glass is dark blue and almost completely translucent. Both ends of this toy are usable. The primary end is a gently pointed bulb shape for precise G-spot stimulation. The other end comes with double-stacked bulbs giving you the alternative of a double-spheric texture. The dildo also comes with a row of nubs running down the front of the shaft, plus two additional nubs on the sides right beneath the G-spot end.

Design / Shape / Size

There is something about the very slight angle of the Deep Water G that works just perfectly for me. The G-spot end is my favorite, the nubs on the sides producing just the right amount of sensation without being distracting. I didn't personally find the texture of the other end sensationally effective.

In the length of 6.5 inches insertable and a circumference of 4.5 inches, I found the Deep Water G's size about average, which is what I prefer personally. If you're a size queen, it might be a little small for you.

As it is glass, it's pretty weighty (11 oz), and for this reason I wouldn't suggest it for travel unless you want to use it as a bludgeon.

Performance

To date, this is the only non-vibrating toy that works for me. I attribute this to the row of nubs on the front side, and the two extras just under the bulbous head. The nubs are gentle, but notably stimulating, which is perfect for beginners. Because it's a silent toy, there is no distraction. The Deep Water G made me fall in love with glass; I hate to sound cliche, but the words "deliciously cool" come to mind.

Care and Maintenance

Borosilicate glass is as easy and safe as it gets; you can boil it, run it through the dishwasher, and use whatever lube you prefer. Just always remember to clean your toy SOMEHOW after every use. If you don't have a clean, secure storage space for the dildo, then you should clean the toy every time before you use it.

Fortunately, the toy comes with a velvet pouch. It's good for storage, but not thick enough to provide extra padding.

Just remember kids, be a little gentle with this toy — glass breaks.

Packaging

The Deep Water G came to me safely inside its velvet storage pouch, and that was all. It had no extra packaging or instructions, but that's okay since it's a pretty straightforward piece of work. If you're giving this as a gift, you might want some additional packaging.

Follow-up commentary
Still loving my Deep Water G. Since it seems like it is, while amazing, generally pretty basic, I think it'll probably apply across the board with non-vibe dildos when I say that the more you use it, the more you'll LEARN HOW to use it, and the more you'll like it. That is ABSOLUTELY the case here. With the help of Deep Water G, in two months, I've gone from, 'Oh, is THAT a G-spot orgasm? I guess that's not so difficult' to toe-curling, mind-numbing awesomeness that I thought was only possible with a rabbit.

As a reminder- NO anal play (this is not flared widely enough to be completely safe), NO sudden, dramatic temperature changes (borosilicate is tough, but there are some things that CAN crack it, in theory) and ALWAYS clean after, and ideally also before every use (glass is easier to keep clean than almost any other material, but better safe than sorry).

Just remember guys, everyone's body is different. Some people just aren't going to get the same results from the G-spot as they might from the clitoris or elsewhere. So be real with yourself- if it doesn't feel good, it's contrary to the point, so DON'T DO IT.

Vibe on, Eden.

Love,

Mog

    Thank you for the review.

"Borosilicate" glass is not ordinary glass, it's extremely durable, so there's no need to worry about breakage. However, you should avoid sudden, drastic temperature changes to the toy, which might crack the glass on rare occasions.
