I will admit, it has taken some time for me to get in touch with my femininity.  I rejected it for years, attributing it to some sort of societal brainwashing or motherly insistence, but eventually I learned to embrace it as part of my nature.  Yes, I like to wear earrings and I look good in pink, but you know what?  I’m still a heck of a top.  I have realized that the two were not mutually exclusive.

Over time I have also discovered that there are a lot of pretty dildos out there, and there are a lot of, well, not pretty ones.  I wanted one that I could strap on and show my feminine side with but that also allowed me to play rough.

One thing I really liked about this toy is that it is non-representational.  It’s made not with a penis in mind, but rather with the material, textures, and color in mind that will be pleasing to a female audience, regardless of sexual preference.

Topco’s Grrl Toyz collection boasts to be designed by women with women’s pleasure in mind, and that comes out in this dildo.  The packaging is simple, with just the name and a simple pink background and care instructions on the back.  No cheesy pictures of contorted naked women.  I like that.

The dildo itself feels amazing.  The end is curved to hit the G spot, and there are wide ribs that tease the vaginal opening.  The silicone itself is a little rubbery, but with a nice helping of water-based lube (no silicone or oil, please!), it feels heavenly.  Also notably it’s very quiet, which is great for those of us with roommates.  Under a blanket, it can barely be heard at all.

The only complaints I have about using this on myself is that first of all it is a bit long for me, with a full seven insertable inches.  As all people are built differently, this could be a positive or a negative, but for me it was a negative.  Luckily when you use it on yourself, it’s not necessary to insert the whole thing. 

Second, the vibrations don’t transmit all the way up the shaft.  They are concentrated at the base of the dildo, and the vibrations are much softer at the tip.  Even if there were no vibrations though, this would still be an great toy.
