This was my first glass toy, and I had high expectations. I prefer hardness over the flexibility some toys offer, and Hearts definitely delivers in that area. Overall, this is a great toy that I would highly recommend to people who enjoy hard, long dildos of a medium size. It lacks g-spot stimulation, but the ridges along the shaft provide enough other stimulation to almost make up for that. I can't speak for anal use and I would hesitate to suggest trying it due to the small flare at the base.

Hearts is made of Pyrex Glass, so it is rock-hard, smooth, and clear as, well, glass. It seems very tough but I wouldn't expect it to survive being dropped on a hard floor, say tile or concrete. I didn't expect that the red hearts would add tactile experience, but they did. The ridges they form provided just enough stimulation to keep the entire thrust full of sensation, rather than focused only the head. Pyrex is a very safe, non-porous material that can be cleaned with soap and water.

I generally like medium-sized toys with some length to them, so I was very pleased with the dimensions of this toy. It's long enough that it bottoms out with length to spare, and thick enough to provide a bit of a full feeling without stretching. The shaft is straight so g-spot stimulation is fairly minimal, although you do get a bit from the bulbous head. The design of the head is probably the only thing I dislike about this toy. It's a bit conical with a soft point on then end, so I was more concerned with cervical bruising than I would be with a more rounded tip.

Because this toy is so hard, it definitely provides a sensation that is very different from the silicone toys (and *ahem* living toys) I am used to. The thrust you can get from it is powerful and almost frighteningly intense. Because of the shape of the head, I did have to restrain myself a bit more than I would have liked for fear of actually hurting myself. Of course, that would probably be true with any toy made of such a rigid material.

Due to the straight shaft and the lack of g-spot goodies, no hyper-powered vaginal orgasm was forthcoming out of this. However, it did give me a sustained, mellow orgasm on it's own that lasted for many minutes. A bit of external stimulation with another toy, and wow. What a climax! I am definitely pleased with this toy; it now has a confirmed spot in my regular repertoire. I haven't tried it anally (it's a bit too big for me), but it does have a slightly flared base. However, I don't know if I would recommend trying to anyone but the most experienced anal play artist, due to it's extreme rigidity, shape and pointy head.

Pyrex glass is very easy to care for, as mentioned above. Clean it with soap and water. I would suggest using a condom if you share, because even though it's non-porous I don't know if you can disinfect it as thoroughly as you can silicone, such as through boiling or a beach dilution.

Hearts comes in a clear plastic box with a pink velvet pillow-pouch. While the pouch is pretty and seems like a nice way to store a toy, particularly a glass one, I can't help but think how velvet is very fluffy and therefore impossible to keep clean. Even with scrupulous cleaning of the toy, I don't think I'd want to keep it in the pouch for anything other than travel.
