I Heart the Blue Hearts Glass Dildo

Use

This Pyrex glass dildo is a beautiful and durable dildo for vaginal penetration. It has an only slightly flared base, and I personally would not be comfortable using it for anal penetration, but advanced anal players may feel it's suitable for anal as well. It's easiest to use on another person, holding the base in your hand, but you can also use it on yourself.

You should use caution with all hard toys like this, whether metal or glass, and thrust gently to start out. There's no real danger that the glass will break from regular use, but because it's so hard and unyielding, it can bruise your cervix if you thrust very hard. So it's best to start up slowly and build up; of course, because it's so hard, a little thrusting goes a long way.

Material / Texture

The glass is Pyrex, which is great, as it's more durable than regular, untreated glass. It's completely odorless and feels hard and smooth to the touch. You can heat it up or cool it down by placing it in warmed or cold water for temperature play. I find that it's pretty cold already at room temperature, so you can enjoy the process of slowly warming it up to body temperature.

Design / Shape / Size

The blue hearts are drawn with a slightly raised texture, and subtly enhance the sensation of penetration. They're less pronounced than ridges or bumps, which is nice for those who don't like lots of ridges but still want something not 100% smooth-shafted.

Performance

I like the pointed bulbous tip at the end because it goes in easier than a simply round bulb but still provides lots of stimulation internally for the G-spot.

Care and Maintenance

Because it's glass it's completely body safe, and it can be sterilized for sharing between two people who are not fluid-bonded. It's non-porous, so it won't harbor bacteria.

To clean regularly, just some soap and water will do. To sterilize, the top rack of the dishwasher, boiling, or a 10% bleach/water solution followed by a good rinse will do.

Packaging

The packaging is really almost the best part. It comes in a beautiful micro-suede bag that's purple on the outside, pink on the inside, with a luxe black drawstring. The bag has a bit of extra padding for protecting your glass, making it even easier to travel with.

Wow, I can't believe it's so cheap! I was expecting the price to be at least double that, especially given the fact that it's pyrex and comes in a nice storage pouch.
