I really wanted to like this one.

The Deep Water G is a beautiful G-spot glass dildo with pronounced nubs along the shaft. It can be used from each end, but the head end has a direct G-spot curve. However, if you are sensitive to a lot of texture, then I would keep looking.

Use

This was my second glass dildo. After the magic of the Bent Graduate, I was obsessed with glass toys. I wanted them all, and I expected every one to be fabulous in its own way. I really wanted to like this one, but the texture isn't suited for me. However, the Deep Water G is a beautiful, good-sized, textured glass dildo. I would not recommend this toy for beginners unless you know you like glass toys and a lot of texture. This glass dildo is best designed for G-spot stimulation, though anal play shouldn't be a problem as long as it is not inserted all the way. Take caution when thrusting this toy as you can bruise your cervix. Also, be careful not to drop your glass toy because it is possible that it could crack and injure you.

Material / Texture

Glass is a new passion of mine. It's beautiful, smooth, and clean. Pyrex glass has no odor and is 100% non-porous. It is solid, so there is no give at all. The Deep Water G is highly textured with raised nubs, so a "Texture Queen" would be an ideal candidate for this toy. It is best to check your glass toys before each use to prevent injury from any cracks or chips. The nubs provide most of the stimulation, though the head is pronounced for G-spot targeting. Temperature play is always a possibility with Pyrex glass. If you don't like cold toys, be sure to warm it up in your hands or against your warm skin before beginning because they get cold!

Design / Shape / Size

The Deep Water G has a nice weight to it. The color is a deep, gorgeous cobalt blue. It is very visually appealing, and the photos don't do this gem justice. The circumference is a smaller girth, but feels much larger because of the nubs. This toy is a great length for solo play, as well as for foreplay with a partner. The handle end can also be used for penetration. My measurements are the same as the product page's for length and head circumference. The measurement of the shaft measures just below 3 1/4 inches on mine, including the nubs. The round "handle" end is the same size as the head end. The head curves down and meets the shaft with three nubs: one in the middle and two on each side. Down the shaft are four more nubs followed by a small bulge, leading to the ball-shaped end.

Performance

I like everything about this toy except the pronounced nubs. Unfortunately for me, this is a big enough discomfort to not use this toy like it should be used. It feels great in my hands and I can get external pleasure from it, but vaginal penetration is a little uncomfortable.

Care and Maintenance

Pyrex glass is non-porous, so it is very hygienic. Bacteria cannot penetrate the glass, so simple soap and water after each use should be enough to keep it clean. You can also place it on the top rack of the dishwasher or boil it for a minute or two. Glass toys should be stored in something soft (pouch included) to prevent any damage. Glass is also compatible with all types of lubricant.

Packaging

The Deep Water G came with a thin, red, "velvety" pouch with a drawstring. The pouch is thin and not guaranteed to protect it, especially if dropped. It is not lined with another fabric but it doesn't look unattractive. The inner side of the fabric is slightly sheeny with visible black stitching along the top for the drawstring. Otherwise, the pouch is suitable for toy box storage, as long as it's not getting banged around in there.

Personal comments

I noticed in the photo that the "bulge" looks to be about the same circumference as the ball-shaped end. My bulge measures four inches, half an inch smaller than both the ball and head end.

Experience

I think this toy has a lot of potential, hence the generally positive review. I just know that I am more sensitive than the average user, and this was my first textured glass toy. I think that I could use it pleasurably if I am super, extremely aroused, so there is hope for a follow-up. So far though, I have not found it entirely pleasurable SOLELY because of the texture from the nubs. Because of this, I think this toy is ideal for those who enjoy lots of texture.

I love this toy for how beautiful it is and I absolutely do not regret purchasing it but I prefer to look at it more then use it. I really don't pull this one out of the toy box anymore but I will on occasion mainly for external use. Internal use is still uncomfortable with this one. Anyone who loves lots of texture and internal stimulation will love this one.
