Icicles tapered teaser sex toy review

The Icicles Tapered Teaser is an ideal beginning toy for those new to glass dildos because of its low price-point and slim girth. It does have a quite bulbous head on one end for the more experienced user, but I personally found it too big to try. I am not an experienced user of anal toys, so I am not sure if the bulb would make the toy safe enough for anal play.
They toy is not quite as pretty as a Phallix glass toy, but it is only a small fraction of the price. The Icicles Tapered Teaser is also not as heavy as the Phallix toys, and thus feels a bit more fragile to me. If you take care of it, though, you will probably be fine. Though not laced with gold or anything, this is still a very pretty toy and the pictures do not do it justice. Instead of just the blue twisting swirl running through the length of the toy, the glass is a lovely iridescent shade that gives off a rainbow effect.
I got this toy because all my other glass toys have nubs or spirals or other pronounced textures, and I wanted to try something with just the smooth feel of glass. This toy has slight bulbs, which I like, no texturing, and was definitely the right price.
I am often amazed at how stimulating, and even realistic, textured glass dildos can feel, but I was in for an entirely different experience with the Icicles Tapered Teaser. The glass is smooth as can be, with just the smooth, gradual, minor bulbs on the shaft which give it some pizzazz. I tried this toy with Tantric Lovers Stimulate-Er Gel. The cooling effect of the gel combined with the cool glass toy made for an amazing experience, and I will definitely be using this combination again!
Though not as fancy, elegant or as heavy as some higher-end glass dildos, the Icicles Tapered Teaser is an excellent choice for those looking to try their first glass toy!

Cracks or Swirls?

Well, now that my fears about bubbles have been alleviated, here's a different one. The Icicles No. 8 is freaking beautiful, no doubt about it. It's got that awesome double-helix pattern going on inside. But after I received mine, upon close inspection, I noticed that there seemed to be what looked like small, smooth cracks on two or three spots. I felt a bit alarmed, but then I realized that they ran along the edge of the helix pattern - pretty much part of it. Since the toy feels completely smooth, I'm thinking that they might just be hiccups that occurred when the toy was made. I've used it without any trouble, but it's still bugging me a bit. What do you guys think?

Actually, I've had the opportunity to handle five or sixpof these in a store, on top of the one that I own. I've noticed that most of these lovelies have this "cracked" look, and I believe it's actually part of the design. Hope this is helpful! :)
