Moulin rouge smooth by Doc Johnson

I was thrilled to receive the Moulin Rouge smooth and was extremely excited to try it out when it arrived. My partner had wanted something that she could play with that could stand on its own, and I thought that this toy would be the perfect surprise, and for the price, it looked like a bargain.

However, once taking it out of the package, I was surprised as to just how big the toy was. The length is great, but two and a quarter inches thick is even larger in person than expected.

Being the daring people that we are, we didn't want to rule to toy out just based on its size. After all, the shape and color are attractive. The material is made of vinyl on the outside and a thick jelly on the inside. The vinyl, however, was not well manufactured and actually had a small protruding bubble at the the top of the toy. [Editor's note: This toy is made of PVC, which is very porous. Condom use is recommended, especially if sharing between partners or orifices.]

I had expected with this type of construction for the toy to be squeezable and bendable, but in reality it was harder and more rigid than silicone. Additionally, the vinyl had a strong smell even after washing it that took away from the experience.

The toy did stand up well on its own, and is solid enough that it does support itself and didn't move around. However, with the final test, the toy did fail: my partner could not take it inside her! Although the thickness was exciting to look at, it was too thick for actual use.

Although the toy may be great for someone who can actually fit it, for our purpose, the toy could at most be used as a clit stimulator. The toy's shape and size are sexy, but overall the toy was poorly made, and proved unusable for us. I've learned my lesson and will stick with silicone and glass toys in the future.
