Illuminated by Alumina

It’s like fitting a perfect tight glove but your vagina is the glove. It molds and contours itself around the curves of the Alumina Motion unlike anything I quite experienced before.

Pros:
Multi-use with double ended play, temperature play, just feels incredible, and easy maintenance.
Cons:

Use

It is a dildo, so it has no motor, no batteries and hence easy to use. It’s double ended and can be used vaginally or anally; good for both men and women. It does not require a lot of lube either I found. It is great for solo fun or with a partner.

The Motion is one of 4 models in the Alumina collection. There is also the Pace, Flow and Revolve. This is where you realize how brilliantly designed this series is.

There is one precaution with this toy…be careful not to push it in too fast too far or you will hit the cervix in a not so nice but painful way. You have to experiment a little bit and know how far you can push it in comfortably; the same goes for anal insertion.

Material / Texture

My heart skipped a beat when I held it the first time. It is made of aluminum and the anodized purple color makes it look so ultra modern. The matte finish is very smooth. Since it is a metal they toy is very rigid and does not bend in any way.

Each toy is actually two halves that can be unscrewed and can be screwed into the other Tantus Alumina toys. There is a rubber ring inserted in the screw part acts as a buffer between the two halves.

If you own more than one Alumina toy this allows you to create a number of unique combination.

Design / Shape / Size

There are spade shapes in various sizes that travel up and down both ends. One end is wide and the other end very narrow, almost pen like.

Since it is a metal toy it is heavier than most dildos. However since it is made from aluminum you will be surprised by its lightness.

What actually struck me first was its cool sleek touch. And when I say cool, I mean temperature wise. But it quickly warms up with handling to your body temp, which only makes this toy even more delicious.

Performance

Now as amazing as it looked, I was afraid I would not like it much because after the ‘head’ part it narrows so much I figured I would not get that feeling of fullness. I was, gladly, beyond wrong. Its shape makes for a divine vaginal entry. It's like fitting a perfect tight glove, but your vagina is the glove. It molds and contours itself around the curves of the Alumina Motion unlike anything I quite experienced before. And you can feel its temperature changing, slowly warming to your body’s heat.

I also discovered two magical feelings with it. My favorite motion was actually the full head in but having a shallow in and out motion (pun, yep) because it hits the g-spot in a most unique way…wow. Second, is to insert it about half way in and then let go of it. It won’t slip out because of the design and gravity takes over giving you a weighted feeling that is just delicious.

Care and Maintenance

Since it is a non-porous toy, it is very easy to clean. Just use hot water and soap. You can even put it in the dishwasher or boil it. But if you are to share in the same session, condoms are always the safe way to go.

When you do clean it, it is best to clean each individual piece separately. Some liquid did get caught between the two halves, but it was easily cleaned when the pieces were separated. Make sure to let the inside aka the screw dry completely before storing this toy to prevent bacteria/rusting.

Packaging

The Alumina motion arrived in a gorgeous black box. Once the box is opened the toy is safely nestled in a thick foam that is cut out to meet all the curves of the toy.

Oh, what a joy and a delight to review this toy from one of my “fetish” toy manufactures. Tantus products are always beautiful, sleek, top quality…just phenomenal sex toys. I have been ANXIOUSLY waiting for a chance to try an aluminum dildo, when I received it I was beyond excited. Oh my god…the Alumina Motion is beyond a work of art.

Great first review, I liked your recommendations for use. In my head I know that these toys aren't lightweight, but some part of me can't get over associating them with tin-can-light because they are aluminum. When you said you could insert it halfway and it wouldn't slip out, for some reason, that really helped me to conceptualize the weight lol
