I had always wanted to try a glass dildo, but the only ones I had seen many years ago were very expensive (hundreds of dollars). When I found this one, I was very excited to be able to afford this product. I did not need a beautifully created piece of art for my sexual pleasure, especially when it was the first one I was buying, and was not sure if it would be pleasurable for me.

I am a cancer patient, and as such, bacteria is always a concern for me. Knowing that I can sterilize this glass, to be sure of the cleanliness is such a relief. Also, I found the fact that it can be easily sterilized, to be a positive for it to be used vaginally and anally (though of course not in the same session, for sanitary reasons).

As a dildo, I found it to be pleasurable. Being glass, you can warm or cool it by running it under the tap, you can also cool it by putting it in the refrigerator. Be careful not to heat or cool it to an extreme, as this will likely lead to a not so pleasurable experience. Personally, I find the glass to be cool, right out of the toy box, and enjoy the feel of it warming to my body temperature.

The fact that it is glass, allows you to use silicone based lubricants without the worry of deterioration. This is a long lasting product, not needing to be replaced for the deterioration factor. Though I do inspect the dildo regularly, I have never had the fear of or problem with the dildo being brittle, chipping or breaking.

In my opinion the adjustment period to get used to the solid glass in comparison to a jelly or softer dildo, for the new user, is worth the effort and time.
