The 10 function pure skin stud is great for those times when you just want something that feels like the real thing. It is great for internal or external use, though if you need SUPER strong vibrations for clitoral stimulation, you might find this to be a little lacking. It's a little larger than a lot of vibrators, and on the large size of average for a penis, so it might not be for beginners.

The pure skin stud is made out of pure skin TPR, which is a 7 on the safety scale. It is somewhat porous, so condoms or toy covers should be used if it will be shared.

I have never felt a toy that felt so much like real skin. When you drag your finger down the side of it, it even drags like skin. When it's in between your legs, you hardly notice the difference. It is fairly firm, but has just about as much 'squish' to it as a real penis. This is how much it 'gives' when I try and squeeze it:

However, I would not consider this a flexible toy. I had to bend it REALLY hard to get it that far, and below that point, it won't bend at all.

It doesn't have a scent, and I'm not a fan of putting toys in my mouth, so I can't tell you if it had a taste for sure. The texture is acceptable for beginners or advanced users alike.

The whole toy is about 8.75 inches long, and about 5.75 of that is insertable. With that alone, I would say it would be for beginners, but the girth is rather large, compared to most vibrators. It has a diameter of 1.75 inches. It's shaped just like a real penis, but it doesn't have any veins or notable texture, but with the feeling of the pure skin, nothing is lost by that fact. The buttons are all the way at the bottom of the controller that protrudes from the base of the penis.

It is in no way discreet. If you accidentally leave this on the nightstand when the in-laws come over, the weird looks and awkward moments WILL happen.

The fantastic thing about this toy is that it has two buttons. One is a power button, and the other cycles through the 10 various patterns and speeds. Once you find a pattern you like, and are finished with the toy, you can just hit the power button, and next time you go to use it, when you hit the power button again, it will still be on that pattern.

I have a serious lack of affection for toys that have soft material like this (like silicone, for example). It seems like the material absorbs most of the vibration, and there just isn't much left to stimulate you. While I can't say that this toy has the strongest vibrations of any toy EVER, I could easily say that of all of the softer materialed toys that I have tried, this one has the strongest vibrations BY FAR. It takes a strong vibration to get me off from clitoral stimulation, and this just makes the grade (probably with a lot of credit being given to the vibrations placed so close to the top of the toy). I'm also not usually much of a fan penetration with toys, but this one gets an A+ for that.

There are 3 speeds, and then 7 functions. The 7 functions range from pulsating to escalating, to just random patterns of vibration. Whether on the highest or lowest vibration, I would say that the noise level is low to medium.

It is waterproof, but I did not test that aspect of it.

Pure Skin TPR is somewhat porous, and should not be shared without using a condom or toy cover. It can not be disinfected with boiling water. You can wash it with warm water and toy cleaner, or a mild soap. The TPR page on EF says that it is compatible with silicone and water based lube, but on the side of the box, it says to only used water based lube with this toy.

From my experience, this toy doesn't seem to collect hair and fuzz. But to be safe, and keep it away from my other toys, I keep it in the original box that it came in.

It does take 2 AA batteries, which should be removed between uses to prolong the life of the toy.

There were instructions in the box, but they didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. The box is not discreet in any way.
