It came in the night… and so did I.

The Midnight Twist is smooth glass with a stimulating row of nubs along the shaft, an angled head for g or p spot stimulation and beautifully swirled white and deep dark blue glass. While I found it's length to be uncomfortable vaginally it felt fantastic when used anally.

Use

While described as a double ended dildo, this lightly textured and nubbed glass toy is great for both G and P spot stimulation. It can be used for vaginal or anal penetration, but as always proceed with caution should you use it anally.

Material / Texture

The Midnight Twist is made of deep dark cobalt blue glass swirled with an opaque white glass which gives the toy a very subtle texture in the hand which is felt more in the hand than in use. It also features a "backbone" of medium sized nubs along the back of the toy. Glass is hypo-allergenic and easily cleaned with the bonus of being great for temperature play.

Design / Shape / Size

The Midnight Twist is "long and thin" at 8 inches total length and a 1 inch diameter. The ball at the bottom makes for an excellent handle, while the gently tapered head with it's slight angle is great for g or p spot stimulation. The nubs along the shaft provide additional stimulation while gently thrusting or twisting the toy. Unfortunately the delicate texture of the swirled glass isn't' felt as much in use as it is when just holding the toy

Performance

Glass, even when textured is delightfully smooth and needs only the smallest amount of lube. Any lube will work without compromising the toy. It glides over your skin with no drag. Because it's so rigid you have to be careful when thrusting so you don't accidentally injure yourself. If using the Midnight Twist for anal stimulation be sure to keep a good grip on the ball base of the toy.

Since glass is so smooth it can be hard to keep a grip on it one lube comes into play, so I recommend keeping a hand towel near by to ensure you don't loose your grip on your toy.

I think this toy is really great for anal, because of it's length i could comfortably stimulate my g-spot, but the nubs along the shaft and angled head felt great in my butt, i can only imagine how great it would've been if i had a prostate.

Care and Maintenance

Glass toys are usually pretty sturdy, but be cautious as they can chip or crack. NEVER use a glass toy that is in any way damaged. If your using the toy for temperature play cool or heat it gently, i.e. soak it in a bowl of ice water or run it under a warm tap. Don't just stash it in the freezer(the fridge is okay) or stick it in hot oven. Never microwave it! Never go from one extreme to another because you may shock the glass and cause it to crack.

Cleaning is a breeze with soap and water, toy wipes or toy cleaner. It can be sanitized with 10% bleach solution, 3 minutes in boiling water or isopropyl alcohol 70%.

Packaging

The Midnight Twist came with a lovely purple faux-suede pouch that was lined in bright pink satin and lightly padded. Not enough padding to protect it from a big drop, but enough to keep it from getting dinged about in a draw or toy chest.
Follow-up commentary
The amount of glass toys I own is bordering on ridonkulous... This one just doesn't stand out enough for me, that's not to say it won't be perfect for someone else!

    • What's the difference? Pros and cons?
    • Pyrex is just a brand name for tempered glass, or borosilicate glass. It's like using the word "Kleenex" for all facial tissue. Same stuff, same safety rating. :) If you want to see just how safe this material is, check out these videos from Dwtim: link and link and here's a little information from EF's own material safety guide link

      It's a really safe and wonderful material. Also, as a side note, I have the Midnight Twist, and it's FANTASTIC! :)
    • Not all glass is created equal. I think most glass toys on EF are pretty decent quality, but some I'm sure aren't as safe as pyrex is. Pyrex is designed to break into chunks instead of shattering. It's also less likely to break in the first place.

    • Hey! I think it's great you want to start trying out toys. A few things to consider are whether or not you think you'll like length over girth or girth over length. And then you can move onto the different types of materials.

      I, personally, prefer glass or silicone materials as they are non-porous and don't require condoms to keep them bacteria-free. They're a little more expensive, sometimes a lot more expensive but it's really worth it if you think about how many toys you may end up throwing out due to porous materials.

      I like non-veined and toys that have veins but aren't overly pronounced with a slim girth. Investing in a good water based lubricant is also a good idea. I like the Sliquid collections.

      Everyone is going to suggest different things and it's going to take trial and error before you find something you really like. Out of the dozens of toys I've tried, there are only three or four that I use all of the time. One of those is the Icicles No 17.
