It's a Double Rainbow!!

The rainbow mega nubby is a really nice, simple glass toy. The nubs add some interesting sensations with every use, but I am still deciding if I like it or not. I really like the colors, although it would be prettier if it had all the colors of the rainbow instead of just red, green, yellow and blue.
This was my first glass toy and I was fairly impressed with it. I really like that it's so easy to clean and store. All you need is soap and water. It came with its own pink padded pouch that looks like a pillow, so that makes it even easier to store. It also came with a sample silicone based lube. But because it is glass you really don't need much lube. You can use silicon, water and oil based lubes with it. The mega nubby is made of Pyrex glass which is a really safe material, it's also pretty strong so it wont easily break. But it does make a lot of noise if you clang it on something.
Because it is only 3 1/2" around, I really couldn't feel the nubs as well as I would have liked to. I think this toy would be better if it was thicker and maybe the nubs were slightly larger, but that's only my opinion. I found out that adding a vibrating ring like the Dolphin ring really helps with extra stimulation.
I also noticed that it's round on one end and pointed on the other, which feels really nice when using it on the clit. It's also pretty fun to use in the tub. The only thing I would recommend doing before using this is to heat it up with some hot water because its really cold otherwise. Unless you like things cold then you wouldn't have to bother.

This was an interesting choice for my first glass toy. I really like all the bumps and how it can be hot or cold. Its a nice length too. My only issue is how skinny and straight it is. next time I'm looking for something a little curvier. but I still really like it.

Glass dildos are great! They all get really slick with lube, can be warmed (or cooled) in water, and are totally easy to clean. Texture wise there are all sorts of options, like the nubby you pointed out, or ridged, or smooth varieties. What works best depends probably more on your personal preferences than any one design factor.
I would say that if you like softer and more bendable materials generally you may find glass to be somewhat of a letdown, but if you like firm pressure glass is definitely where it's at.
We have a couple of glass toys (a plug and a few dildos) and really like all of them, not too mention they tend to be a little more fun to look at. Personally we like a mix of glass and silicone toys, because they each have things they are better at, but if you are curious about trying a glass toy out for the first time, definitely go for it. You will probably like it.

I haven't tried that specific glass toy, but I have tried glass toys with "nubs" on them. Honestly, they didn't hurt me in the least -- but, the jelly ones do. I don't understand it.
I LOVE glass though. -
Maybe if you move around and find it's too big, but in themselves, they wouldn't generally hurt (in my exp) :)

So I don't know much on the topic, but putting anything made of glass inside my body sounds a little scary. Do glass toys ever break?

Not usually, most glass toys are made of a solid piece of Borosilicate glass like pyrex. They shouldn't break unless you drop them and even then they may not break the first time they fall.
You should check them for chips before using them, just in case. -
Glass is one of the safest materials you can get, next to stainless steel and silicone. You can boil it and even throw some into the dishwasher! They'll break if you drop them real hard or throw them (especially the cheaper ones), or if you put it in the oven and then in a bowl of cold water, but not inside you!

One is Don Wands and the other is SSA glass...that's about it.

I would suggest taking the bit out about not really needing lubricant. If you're not properly lubed up you can harm the nerves in the vagina or anus. Also, because there is a lack of a flared base this wouldn't be good to use anally as it could slide completely into the anus and cause a trip the emergency room.

Thanks or the review. I do agree with VieuxCarre. I like to tell people that glass needs "Little lubricant, if any". It's really about the preference of the person. But I don't even find the lubrication bit to be important because most people know to use it anyway. Maybe you could list some nice lubricants that would go good with the product. This is a really nice toy though, I want to buy it but it's always out of stock when I want it! I just wish it wasn't rainbow!

You should never recommend anything for anal that doesn't have a flared base. There is a chance someone will believe you and use the toy for anal, then need a trip to the emergency room to get it removed when it gets lost inside the rectum.
