It's a really, really hard pink tentacle!

It's pretty and unique; it's a total collectors piece! This little tentacle (or tongue) is perfect for clitoral stimulation or fun temperature play on the nipples or scrotum.

Use

This hard, pink tentacle is really a treat to hold onto! I found its best use to be clitoral stimulation, or teasing the entrance to my vagina. Held in just the right way, it can massage the g-spot as well. You truly can't beat a multi-purpose hard pink tentacle! Almost any part of this toy could be used. You can insert it facing up or down. You can rub the tip on your clit. You could also hold it by the "shaft" and rub the textured handle against your clit.

If you really want to, I suppose you could use it anally as the end does have a handle, however its quite wide; I don't imagine it'd feel too great.

The really nice thing about glass is that you can use it for temperature play. You can put it in the freezer to chill it, or run it under warm water to warm it up. You can get any temperature you want. This is a toy you could drag across the skin, nipples, or even the scrotom when it's at a desired temperature.

Material / Texture

Icicles #24 is made out of hand blown glass. As such, it's very, very hard. It's also very, very smooth. As smooth as a textured tentacle can get that is! With the texture and shape of this dildo I'd recommend it for advanced toy users; it's an incredibly unique shape.

Design / Shape / Size

Well, it's shaped like a...tentacle! I could see it also described as a tongue. It's curved and the end curves back onto itself to shape a handle. It's far more textured on the top than the bottom. It's also more flat than rounded; it's not circular at all.

I don't imagine many knowing what the heck this is unless they're aware of tentacle shaped dildos. I could see this sitting out on someone's shelf as simply a unique sculpture or something.

It's not big at all. It's about 5 1/2 inches long; 4 of them being insertable. The girth is 5 inches as well. Though it's more flat, it's wider than it is thick. The tip does taper a bit to a blunt point.

Performance

With how uniquely shaped this toy is, it takes many uses to figure out just what way your body wants this toy to be used on it. For me, it works best as a clitoral stimulator. It's actually pretty ergonomic, so holding it by the handle and rubbing the textured part against my clit feels amazing. Especially since it's so smooth and it's not vibrating, it's a nice in-between of direct and diffuse stimulation.

Care and Maintenance

Being that the #24 Icicle is glass it's very easy to care for, so long as you don't drop it on concrete or something. It's non porous which is great for sharing. Plus it's boilable and dishwasher safe. You can use a 10% bleach solution to sterilize it as well, or simply wash it with hot water and body safe soap or antibacterial toy cleaner.

For storage I am keeping mine in the box it came in for now, as it's nicely padded. Since it's glass, you want to ensure it's safe so it doesn't fall and get chipped.

It's safe to use with any kind of lubricant.

Packaging

The box is nice and sturdy. It comes with a foam insert that has a space just perfect to fit the dildo in. The front of the box has a window on it. You simply open the little door, and you see your beautiful dildo sitting nestled in its foam bed. The door is magnetically closed so it won't be flopping around or anything.

It's not really discreet; it has a picture of the dildo on the front of it, with the name of the toy.

Personal comments

While this certainly isn't my favorite toy, there's something to be said about the uniqueness of the shape and design, as well as the ability for so much temperature play with the glass. I'm not sure how frequently I'm going to be using this dildo. However, I am so glad I have it if for no other reason than it's novelty!

      I think it would be brilliant if toy like a bit of texture. I fell in love with glass last summer and I'm still head over the heels.

      This one has a comfy handle - just like mine - which is important for thrusting. I'd try it if it was available in my country.

      I know, I love it too. I want to buy it because its so pretty alone, then try it out. I love the bent graduate glass toy and I now love the feeling of glass. It looks very textured which Im not sure if Id love, but Im really curious about this one.

      Different kinds of glass have different densities, and therefore different strengths. Pyrex is quite strong, and is therefore the choice for sex toys, for safety.

      There is Pyrex glass, which is a borosilicate glass. Probably the strongest around. There is regular, plain old glass. Such as the kind you find cheap dishes made out of.
