It's Pretty Durn Small...

I had just an, all around, "meh" kind of experience. Perhaps there is someone out there who has a boat this can float. It wasn't me, and it wasn't my partner.

Use

This dildo is best suited for strap-on or self play. It's not real big around making it perfect for smaller built women or those experienced in anal play and looking for a good dildo. I'm pretty ambivalent about it myself, being neither of the aforementioned things. Though, if you're gender variant, this works well for hard packing as it doesn't tear or break.

Material / Texture

This is my first experience with vixskin, and I have to say, I'm not real impressed. It feels very rubbery and has a tendency to catch hair and skin. It has got a good core though. The head has a little more give than you would normally find in a dildo, which is kinda nice. It helps the receiver feel more like they're accepting it, rather than having it pushed into them, if that makes any sense at all.

It has a little bit of a chemical taste and smell. It's a little sticky as well so it's a total lint trap.

Design / Shape / Size

I like the shape but would like the overall design more if it had a little more girth. I'm no size maniac, but I could barely feel the thing. It has a fairly realistic look, but the texture is off. It's travel safe and water safe.

All in all, this is probably a good fit for the beginner and average user. I'm just a little picky about these things I suppose.

Performance

This toy has no suction cup. The base is wide enough to where you could use it with any o-ring size. It's got a little more give in it's core than I'm used to. So if you want something that won't bend a lot. this is not the toy for you. Out of the times I've used it, I've liked it best when I'm on my own. It's only got a 4 3/4" insertable length, so it's best not to shorten it any more with a strap on in my humble opinion.

There is something else to note. The back of the base is completely smooth, and you can't feel much from it if you're wearing it. Couple this with the fact that it only weighs about seven ounces, and you've set your self up for a completely unremarkable strap-on wearing experience.

Care and Maintenance

Rinse it with warm water and mild soap for everyday cleaning and a little bit of rubbing alcohol for a deeper clean. Cleaning is very straight forward and easy. There is nothing fancy about it. Pat dry and store it or use it again. Make sure to clean in those ridges around the head real well; they're pretty deep.

Packaging

The packaging was pretty standard. It comes in a plastic box with a couple of mediocre designs. There are no instructions to speak of....but then again...it's a dildo. This is certainly nothing to get worked up about.

Personal comments

I'm not fond of this one at all. It's a personal thing, I know. I was just very non-impressed. It seems to me ,that they could have made it just a little bit bigger. Say a 5" insertable length and a 1 1/4" girth (opposed to 4 3/4" and 1 1/8"). Then this toy would please a lot more people. I actually have another one that is roughly the dimensions I just gave, and the difference is remarkable.

Really, it was just kind of meh, blah, whatever, lame....however you want to put it.
Follow-up commentary
I've found, as a gender-variant biological female, this dildo works well, as I mentioned in my initial review as a hard packer. Something that you can just wear around and whip out and use. It's small enough and flexible enough to be easily concealable.

However, I have also found that this works particularly well for double packing (aka: using for penetration while you're wearing a strap-on with a dildo already in it). This is a wonderful, wonderful thing because not only do you get the external stimulation (as well as the visual and conceptual stimulation) but also internal stimulation as well. It's similar to using something like the Feel-doe, the difference being that the movement is more individual since the two dildos are not connected. Not for everyone but good if you're into it.

Also, this one is small enough and soft enough (especially at the tip) to be used for anal penetration.

  • Is the Spur going to be available on EF anytime soon?
    • I've been waiting for this to be available for a while, it looks like it'd be a nice dildo for more vigorous pegging. Anybody else interested in this guy?

    • This is not the best dildo for "vigorous pegging." I suggest something a little girthier and firmer.
