Lust Objectified
The Olga is truly a luxury item, with great packaging to match. Made of stainless steel, it not only can be shared but works wonders with temperature play. There are few toys out there that I truly lust over. The Olga was one of those select few. I may have literally started drooling at the sight of it when it went up on Lelo’s website. I recently mastered my g-spot orgasms with Olga’s silicone sister, the Ella, and fell in love with the properties of the steel Pure wand. In my mind, the Olga and I were destined for one another. When the Olga graced EdenFantasys on the New Additions page, it is entirely safe to say I screamed like a little girl.
Opening the package that contained the Olga was like Christmas morning. I put on some music and sat down. I opened the shipping box (discreet, what I’ve come to expect from EdenFantasys) and inside was another cardboard box. I opened the next box and then was greeted with a solid black box that had the word LELO printed in gold. No photos, unlike other Lelo products I own. I then slid out what is the best included toy storage I’ve ever encountered.
The Olga comes in a cherry colored wooden box. The box has golden hinges and a beautiful black velvet cushion that the Olga rests in. It hides the manual, satin storage pouch, and a black polishing cloth. Like all Lelo products, the Olga comes with a one year warranty. The Olga is beautiful, but what else would you expect from steel? Weighing in at 1.5 pounds and measuring 7” in total length, she’s very compact and very heavy. All of the great properties of stainless steel do apply. During use, it actually feels as if she is getting hotter in temperature than my body. Running her under cold water before use makes for a great sensory overload when you run her against your clit or any other part of the body for that matter.
Cleaning is very easy. You can use either soap and water or a wipe off toy cleaner. If you want to share her, simply wipe with a 10% bleach solution (rinse after), boil for 3 minutes, or my favorite- run in the dishwasher (top rack, no soap). If ran in the dishwasher, make sure you have it in a secure location and away from any toys that could break (glass). Both silicone and water based lubricants are safe for use.
The Olga is identical in size to the Ella, so before you buy the Olga, checking the Ella out is definitely a good idea to make sure the design is right for you. Honestly though, I haven’t spoke to one person who didn’t love the Ella and the same will probably be true for the Olga.

Experience
My favorite way to use my Ella is with my partner. So when the Olga came, I was determined to put it to practice in the same way. After running it under cold water, my partner took the Olga and traced my breasts and ran it over my nipples and then quickly followed the cold lines he was drawing with his mouth. If I liked the shape of Ella (the silicone dildo it's shaped after), I would buy it. Since Ella doesn't work for me, I won't be spending the big bucks on Olga. I have a piece by nJoy that costs more than Olga does, so yeah, people do spend that type of money on sex toys. ;)
