Cobalt wand - glass wands discontinued by Pyrexions - review by Oggins

The Cobalt wand by Pyrexions does not arrive in a padded storage bag nor does it arrive with an un-padded satin storage bag. It in fact arrives only in a simple plain box that is just big enough to hold this glass wand. To be honest, it reminded me of a scene from Harry Potter where Harry is purchasing his wand and going through several boxes. I'm really not sure why that popped into my head when I opened this box but, it does sort of look like a magical wand. It's not overly large or way too small. The shaft which is also the smallest part of this dildo is just a little bit over 1" diameter while the largest part is the ball handle end and it measures just a little over 1.5" diameter. It also measures 9" total length and does look pretty much identical to the dildo pictured in the description.

In case you aren't already familiar with glass dildos, let me point out that they are a nonporous material and can be sterilized if you like to share your toys. You can boil them, throw them in your dishwasher(top rack/no soap!) or wipe them down with a 10% bleach solution for sterilization. You can also clean them off with antibacterial soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. Any lube can be used with glass and you can heat it up or cool it down! Just be sure to check the temperature before use!

While this glass toy may not be suitable for a partner to use on you due to it's hardness factor, it still did not disappoint! The shaft of this dildo is perfectly straight and features some mild swirling at the tip where the milky colored area is. The swirls felt nice when rubbed on my clitoral area and vaginal opening. Upon insertion, the swirls could be felt but, weren't too noticeable unless the wand was being twirled. On the opposite end the ball handle makes it easy to grip as well as providing you with another end to try out! The ball end did manage to hit my g-spot and the ridges felt great going in and out of me! So, I did actually prefer the ball end of this dildo because of the g-spot stimulation and that extra ½" of diameter really helped too!

There is no smell or taste from this dildo at all and it is quite pretty! The cobalt blue looks almost black in dim light but, is a deep blue in brighter lighting. The variation of milky colors on the tip blends nicely and there are no rough spots whatsoever! It's a work of art!

If you're like me and haven't heard many things about the Pyrexion company then you'll be happy to know that all of their products are hand sculpted by a single artisan from the highest grade Pyrex. They have been making quality Pyrex toys since 1998 and produce some of the most hygienic toys available on the market. Not too shabby but, I still think a padded storage bag would have been nice....

I think this dildo might be great for someone new to glass because it would give them a 1" diameter and a 1 ½" diameter to play around with and see what they like. Of course it would also be good for those who are more experienced looking to add to their collection! It's cute, has two different diameters, easy to care for, sterilizable and it feels good too! What's not to like?

During playtime, hubby was allowed to use this dildo on me. When I was positioned on my back he just kept hitting the wrong spots and because this glass wand is so hard, it's easy to feel when he hit the wrong spots! We decided to try him using it on me from behind in the doggie style position and this worked out much better and even stroked my g-spot more intensely! Everyone is different though so make sure to play around with different positions to find what works out the best for you!

I enjoyed the ball end of this dildo more so than the straight shaft because those balls and ridges provided very positive stimulation! I could feel the ridges sliding in and out as well as over my g-spot and I was in heaven...
