Magnum - dildo by Fun Factory - review by Red

The first thing to strike me about the Magnum was how alluring it looked when it arrived. Fun Factory makes its toys look playful by enrobing them in whimsical and cheerful packaging; even the most scowling cynics couldn't help but grin in anticipation upon seeing this smooth black dildo in its brightly colored box. And yes, the dildo itself is also striking; the elegant black silicone makes it possibly the most attractive toy in my personal collection.

When it arrived, I simply could not hold myself back; moments after it was unwrapped and rinsed, I was rolling around on the bed with it, experimenting in different positions. At first, I was overwhelmed with two things; the delicious ridge of the head, and the amazing smoothness of the shaft. As I worked the dildo into myself, I realized I was focusing more and more on the ridge, eventually using just the head of the whole thing to stimulate myself. This, I feel, indicates a slight personal preference, I like a bumpier, more ribbed toy. That said: the lush and decadent feeling of the long smooth shaft of this toy could well be exactly what does it for someone else. Thus, I feel the Magnum could well be a crowd pleaser, the sort of toy anyone could enjoy.

On the flip side of things, the Magnum is also a great dildo for anal play. Personally I look for a smoother dildo for anal stimulation, and oh my God was the Magnum ever perfect. The curve was really nice here as well; I was able to orient the dildo so that it bumped up against my G-spot for toe curling climax after climax. It is, perhaps, my new found favorite for this type of stimulation.

Finally, compared to other strap-on compatible dildos I've tried, the Magnum is definitely also a winner. The base is quite large (and thus quite secure in a harness) and surprisingly supple against soft flesh bits. The curve of the dildo allows it to sit perky and erect when it's strapped in place, which is obviously a major bonus. And of course, there's the visual appeal. The smooth black silicone dildo looks scrumptious strapped on, so scrumptious in fact, that my partner couldn't keep her hands off of it. Performance wise, it was exactly what I expected; smooth, silky, and climax inducing.
