Marky-Mark (aka Puck or Jose)
Tantus's O2 Mark may not be the quarterback of the team, but it certainly fits in my "tight end" like it was meant to be there. It's not huge, which is great for everyone but size queens, it's semi-realistic, feels amazing in use, and has only one very minor flaw. The Mark is an excellent, well-made toy, worthy of sharing your "field" and will keep you "running back" for more.Published: May 6, 2011
Pros:
O2 silicone, non-huge size, realistic feel but only semi-realistic look, a good all-around guy.
Cons:
Lint magnet, may be too short.

Use
Tantus's O2 Mark is a realistic (sort of) dildo. It has a fantastic base, making it feasible (and pretty dang awesome) for anal, strap on play (including pegging), or use in the Liberator BonBon/Wing/Pulse, etc. (at which it also excels).
I say that Mark is "sort of" realistic because it's not overly realistic. It feels very realistic, but doesn't look intensely realistic. Coupled with its smaller size, it's only partially realistic.
Mark is, admittedly, the first toy in which I do not call by its given name. I call Mark, Puck, after the character in Glee. Sometimes, it's Jose. Depends on my mood.
This doesn't hit the G-spot, but is still very stimulating internally.

Material / Texture
O2 is nothing like I have ever experienced before. It's buttery soft, plushy, and matte on the outside of the shaft, but firmer underneath (due to the inner core). The core is very slightly off-center; it's closer to the top/inside (that is, the top of the dildo if held horizontal with the curve going up, or the inside of the curve). The off-centered core isn't as obvious as in the O2 Adam.
The head of Mark/Puck/Jose is super squishy, but of a shiny silicone. Mark has a few veins, a frenulum, urethral hole, and a somewhat, but not overly, pronounced head. The veins can't be felt in use, so texture-haters can enjoy it as well. Mark is flexible, but not overly so; it takes a fair amount of work to bend it in half. The base is sturdy and very difficult to flex. There is a little Tantus logo imprint on the base, which serves two purposes: a. a helpful way to remind you which way is up, and b. being a pain in the butt to clean.
I just like stroking this guy--so soft and matte.
Silicone is, as always, nonporous, odorless, bad-stuff free. O2 does attract a good bit of lint, unfortunately.

Design / Shape / Size
Mark/Puck/Jose is on the small side of realistic dildos--which is fine by me. It works perfectly for my purposes, as an everyday, no need to warm up that much dildo.
It is a total of 6 1/4" long, with 5 1/2" being insertable. This make the base about 1/2" thick, which is sturdy enough to be completely stable in strap-on and BonBon/Pulse/Wing use. At max, it is 1 3/8" in diameter, which is between 4 1/4" and 4 1/2" circumference (it's 4 8/25", but, who can really picture that size?).
I think this would be the perfect introduction to a safe, real-feel dildo. Its size is not overly large, intimidating, nor does it invite the possibility of "eyes bigger than orifice."
The toy does have a slight curve but probably will not hit the majority of g-spots due to the softness of the head and the softness of the O2 in general. I got the toy in caramel, and while it's not really a hyper-realistic color, it sure is an appetizing color. I'm put off by super realistic colors (where the veins and head are colored), and this was the perfect go between of "not realistic at all" and "realistic" in color.

Performance
I haven't tried Mark/Puck/Jose in a harness, but I have used it in conjunction with my BonBon and found him to work almost flawlessly. I actually purchased it with the intent to go with my BonBon. The only issue I found was that the toy was a tadbit too short--it kept falling out on the up-stroke. Once I got used to this, it was fine. I have also used it without the BonBon, and it works just as great.
I did try it once anally, and found it to be quite satisfactory and stimulating, and a decent simulation of what anal sex would be like (as I've never had it).
It doesn't hit any special spots, but it is very good at internal stimulation in general. A good, all-around toy. Of course, it looks like a penis, so, it's not discreet.

Care and Maintenance
As much as you want to, don't bite your Mark/Puck/Jose. Please. You'll leave bite marks, similar to those in the head of my M/P/J. Whoops.
Silicone can be cleaned simply with soap and hot water, a commercial toy cleaner, a 10% bleach solution, boiling for 5 minutes, or putting it in the dishwasher with no soap. Simple stuff.
Please use a condom when switching orifices or switching partners, if you don't sterilize in between. Don't use silicone lubricants at all with the toy--softer silicones such as O2 are particularly notorious for melting in conjunction with silicone lubes. Other lubes are fine.
Storage is also easy; I suggest a plastic baggie for keeping it lint free and ready to go. The packaging is standard Tantus (a clear plastic clamshell inside of a mostly clear plastic box), and isn't so great for long-term storage. I got a small cut from a sharp corner on their packaging. Ouch.

Personal comments
I also own the O2 Adam, and find myself reaching for the Mark more often than the Adam, especially in using my BonBon. While the Adam is a very upstanding dildo, Mark is closer to the perfect size for thrusting for me. Your preferences may be different.

Want! I have been drooling over this for a while. Thanks for making me want this even more!
This one would be the perfect size for me. I just wish it came in an unrealistic color.

Thanks for the review.
Thank you for the review
Thanks for the review! That comment on the Adam vs Mark especially. Makes me lean towards this one rather than the Adam.
Great review, thanks.
Great review. I've been looking for a good anal dildo and this sounds like a good choice
