T-Rex - realistic dildo by Tantus - review by KrissyNovacaine

The T-Rex is a very girthy yet not too long dildo from Tantus. It is realistically sculpted with subtle veins and a very prominent ridge for the head. This is a boon and a curse. The ridge is uncomfortable during insertion, but it helps stimulate my g-spot.

This is a large toy. This is not for beginners, and from experience, not best used without being really warmed up. That being said, as a bit of size queen, I love how this is the fullest feeling I have ever had without experiencing any kind of pain due to my very sensitive cervix being hit.

The T-Rex is safe for anal play, but I can't say how it actually worked because my butt and I are not that brave. I am looking forward to strapping it into my brand new harness and using it on female partner.

This is made from Tantus' high quality silicone that they are famous for. It has more give than the Vamp, but it doesn't have the squish of the Super Soft VIP. It's firmer than the real thing but not completely rigid which is really nice in a toy of this size.

This silicone is smooth with very subtle veins. I can't particularly feel the veins during use, but I am also not the most sensitive to texture.

This toy had no odor or taste out of the box, nor does it retain any.

This is quite an over sized, mostly realistic dildo. It's not exactly sculpted, but it is obviously phallic. There are some veins on it and a very pronounced ridge for the head that are quite realistic, but the testicles are just not realistic. They are small and very unrealistically shaped. They hang in such a way that they point out towards the sides. Additionally, the balls are oddly placed. They are about two inches above the base. This makes them feel kind of weird in some positions, and it makes the T-Rex difficult to get into a harness. It is still possible, but it isn't easy.

The T-Rex is not made for beginners or average users. It has a circumference of 7" and an insertable length of 6". He is a total of 8.5", but 2.5" is wasted on the odd placement of the testicles.

Speaking of harnesses, the base is rectangular in shape with one side that is rounded. It is rather large for the toy. I find the easiest way to get it into a ring is to put in the rounded side first and bend the rest of the base into the ring. The toy comes with a rubber ring, probably because finding a ring to fit the girth of this wouldn't be easy. The base does not have a suction cup at all, so you won't be able to stick him to anything to terrify friends, lovers, or room mates.

Otherwise, the T-Rex is just a dildo. He doesn't have space for a bullet or any electronic parts. Just a very hefty chunk of silicone.

This is made from silicone, so it requires a certain amount of care. Silicone can only be used with water based lubricants. Additionally, silicone cannot be stored touching other types of toy materials like other silicones, TPR, UR3, etc.

As for cleaning, Silicone can be serilized by boiling it, putting it in the top rack of your dishwasher, or wiping it with a 10% bleach solution. If you just want to clean it, you can wash this in warm water with mild soap or toy cleaner. This wipes down very nicely, you will want to make sure and pay special attention to around the testicles and the ridge of the head because fluid can get trapped there.

The packaging on this did not thrill me, but it isn't the frustrating clam shell that most toys come in, so I will give it that. The T-Rex comes in a clear plastic box that you can clearly see the toy through. The packaging lists the benefits of silicone. It does not give care instructions which I feel is a shame.

The packaging isn't too large compared to the toy, so I am using it for temporary storage until I get a pouch for it.

I love my T-Rex, but I am quite into girth. He is about at my limit right now, and I can only use him in certain positions. Doggy style is painful because he is rather unforgivingly stiff, and his ridge catches painfully on my pubic bone. He isn't going to work for everyone, but that is why Tantus made a smaller version called the raptor.
