Maxed Out

I purchased it on a whim because it is the only realistic dildo, with balls, that I've decided I actually liked the look off. And its photographic possibilities for sending naughty pictures, with extra visual aids, to a long distance 'special' someone seemed quite promising.

Use

Best used for vaginal or anal penetration by size queens and advanced users. Only the bravest, and possibly craziest beginner, would consider this.

Its flared base and balls make it harness compatible, but due to the nature of the style, size, and shape of the balls, it will probably only be compatible with some harnesses. I can't suggest any because I don't own or use any harnesses myself.

Assuming the size is a non-issue, the material and design should allow for some rougher use with little fear of bruising. You could end up a bit sore, but hopefully pleasantly so.

Material / Texture

100% silicone. A 10 on the material safety scale, silicone is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. It is without strong distinguishable flavor or odor and waterproof. Being silicone, use water-based lubes only.

Max is part of Tantus' O2 line which is made with dual density silicone. It has a firm silicone core that is surrounded by a thinner and softer silicone layer, all for the purpose of feeling more like a real cock. Firm, but with some give to it and fairly flexible.

Very realistic in terms of design and detail, but certainly above average in terms of size.

Design / Shape / Size

As far as I've been able to tell, Max is the largest dildo Tantus carries. Not the largest dildo you can find on EF, but still large.

Mark, Max, Casper

Max is 8 and 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter (that's 6 inches in circumference.) at the widest point. Even the narrowest is still 1 and 7/8 of an inch.

Meanwhile the bottom ranges from 4 and 1/4 to 4 and 3/4 inches deep, depending on where along the base and balls you measure. The balls are also 1 and 5/8 inch thick.

He's also a bit heavy, so if you're using him alone, you might get a bit of a workout. Beginner beware, and intermediates approach with caution.

I love the detail on Max. It's exquisite and very realistic. But as dildos go, the size alone keeps this toy from being discreet. I certainly wouldn't travel with it if I were flying (imagine that popping up on the x-ray) or with others.

But if you do and have your own room, at least you don't have to worry about it being loud, unless you yourself are a screamer. And I imagine Max might make you one if you aren't.

Performance

The only performance this dildo ended up having was me using it, in combination with jeans, a sweatshirt and pillows, to jury rig a 'dummy' in order to send BJ pictures. They turned out quite well. The recipient was quite happy with the results of the pictures as well as his own results from them.

As for actually ever using the Max myself, right now that is highly unlikely. I'm sure with enough time, practice and lube, I could make him fit comfortable and feel good. But I'm not really sure I'll ever want to.

Care and Maintenance

1) Remove from package and rinse with water to get rid of any lint and dust.
2) After warming yourself or your partner up, apply water-based lube and insert in the preferred orifice (harness optional)
3) When you are finished, wash Mark with warm soapy water, boil it for 3 minutes, or run it through the dishwasher on the top rack.
4) Return to packaging or alternative storage bag/pouch to protect it from other silicone toys you might have.
5) Store in a cool dark place. If you can, store in its upright position.

Packaging

The plastic sleeve and molded insert Max comes in is quite large, almost twice the size of the dildo itself, and takes up quite a bit of space. I'm also not sure how sturdy the packaging will be over time. Still, I'm hesitant to store it without the sleeve or insert.

There is minimal information on the packaging, and no where does it say what toy it was. Tantus seems to have general sizes that they use for all their toys and not toy specific packaging.

The packaging isn't discreet either. The dildo is clearly visible to anyone who looks at it.

Personal comments

Really just too big for me, but certainly a high quality toy worth the price, especially if you work it. It is Tantus after all. Even without having used it, it still gets full marks.
