I am not a pink person, even seeing it on other people usually disgusts me, but the shade of Moulin Rouge is surprisingly attractive, and even though this is a bigger toy, it sort of humbles you and dares you to use it.
I know the last statement is true; when I let my partner know that the Moulin Rouge was at the house, she skipped class to come home and use it with me. The Moulin Rouge is extremely well built, I am very pleased with the workmanship of the product. There are no seams or nicks in it where the mold was used, the entire dildo is entirely smooth. This wand of pleasure is made of Sil-a-gel, which I think has become my new favorite material. It is semi-flexible, but if you were to bend it and let go it would not hold the shape; it contours to the shape of your body during use. The base is flared so I suppose it would work with a harness, but when it was going to be used between my partner and one of our lady friends we did not have an O-ring large enough, the base is about 2.5” in diameter. It is also a firm weight; not too heavy but not too light either. In the pictures, it looks like it might have a suction cup base, but sadly, there is not one present.
There are two recommendations I have for Doc Johnson and this product, the first being to add a suction cup to the bottom, a good one. Sure, the price would increase some, but the product is already a steal (you need to purchase one before they figure out they could raise the price), and a suction cup would improve solo play, add more dimensions to partnered play, and make harness use much easier. The second suggestion is to make a Moulin Rouge Jr. This product is large, over 2” in diameter, so it is not for the faint of heart, I would even personally like to try out the Moulin, but because it is such a large toy, I have decided against it, and not to mention, my partner has quite literally fallen in love with the toy. Just remember it is porous, and can only be cleaned with soap and water, or
toy cleaner, and that it cannot be sterilized. As the text on the front says of the packaging says, “They're tuff and sexy just like you.” You are tough and sexy, aren't you?
