This was an impulse buy... a little too impulsive even. I bought a girlfriend of mine a dildo for her birthday and thought, "what the hell, I'll get one for myself!"

I noticed the same thing for the color changing on my anal delight butt plug. It sort of turned an opaque pink rather than staying translucent. I think it is a proof of poor quality material. I plan on throughing it away and getting a safer silicone alternate butt plug/probe to replace it.

Jelly is not the safest or most sanitary of materials, which accounts for the color change. I recommend using a condom with jelly toys. You can find more information about different materials on EF.
Like everyone else said, it's just the quality of the material that causes it to change color. The condoms are a wise choice. I'd recommend a silicone dildo for your next purchase :)
Jelly isn't the safest to suck on either you may to get some flavored condoms or flavored lube for it.
