My first glass toy

I had been wanting to try glass toys because my body does not handle certain jelly and porous toys very well, and I was sick of wasting money on condoms when I'm the only person using the thing. When I got this adorable toy I was too excited to break it in. Immediately I loved the way it felt in my hands, the cold smooth glass with the raised bumps, and that delicious slightly curved angle, plus it just looks beautiful.
The toy felt amazing, just the way it felt in my hands, very smooth and cool, then eventually warms up to body temp, the curve is of course very nice and hits the g spot perfectly. Also when first using it, because it's cool and smooth at the head, it feels really lovely to just lightly play with it on my clit. I've heard that you can microwave these guys or even stick them in the fridge, though I haven't tried it, that is something I plan on trying in the near future! Obviously you would not want to mess around with any extreme temps, but I think it could be a lot of fun to play with!
It is a very hard material, glass, obviously, so you can't really be too rough with it. I don't think it would break or anything, but I felt I had to be a little more gentle with it. Also I was wishing it was just a little bit thicker, but it was a lot of fun none the less. My husband absolutely loves to use it on me, and says it gets me really wet. I don't disagree! I would definitely recommend this little guy for a first glass toy. I think it's just perfect and the price wasn't bad at all!

I like Athena. It's one of the few dildos in general that will hit my G spot. I think the only glass one.

I've had 4 glass dildos, so I guess that doesn't count as a wide variety. My favourite is the Amethyst, though. It works so well for me that I haven't looked for any other glass g-spot toys since I got it a year ago.

Gold ribbed G-spot -vs- Gold Fumed Rocky Road

These toys seem very similar in size and texture. The difference being the flared based on the Gold Fumed. Has anyone seen these toys close up in a side by side. Or better yet, tried both? What are your impressions.
*edit- One of the comments i noticed: The texture bumps on the shaft of the Gold Fumed, are not as close together as the picture makes it appear. This got me wondering. -
We have the Gold Fumed G-spot Wonder. It's quite a nice toy - but we only use it as a warm up - it's not large enough to really do the deed for my wife.

Yes, welcome to EF, I agree with Lauren. Sounds like you have experience and I am sure you would be a great asset to the community. You should definitely look into getting into the mentor program to get some basics on review writing. Just check out the community page and you'll find plenty of people eager to help you out fine tune what you are already are good at.
Interesting review. I was curious what other peoples experiences were with glass. It seems pretty hit or miss.

Thanks for the review! I have been debating whether to get this one or not. you might want to include some more info on the size, texture and care of this toy . I second the above suggestions for the mentor program. Great start though
I don't think microwaving toys is a good idea. To warm it up, just hold it under warm running water for a bit or place it in a bowl/sink of warm water for a few minutes.
I second Mr. E. The best way to warm up or cool down a toy is in water.
