Let me first say that Ella is a good beginner toy because of its simplicity. This dildo is simplistic bliss. There are no batteries, plugs, or electronics of any kind. If you are new to the toy scene, like me, then Ella will be a comfortable partner. This dildo is very smooth, and it slides in easily without any 'hiccups'. The shape is dual purpose for different pleasure spots, and its versatility is a bonus. I suggest experimenting with various positions, and/or inserting Ella differently. You'll be surprised at the difference is pleasure just by rotating it.

The material feels very smooth, but is hard. It didn't have a smell, and I have no desire to taste it. I enjoyed the smoothness of Ella, and I believe that beginners would definitely not be intimidated by it.

I do love the design because it is versatile. It can be used to rub the clitoris for fast and easy pleasure, or it can be inserted (over and over and over again) for straight penetration. Either way, it is smooth and satisfying. It is 7" in length, but only 5" are insertable. So, I don't think it is best suited for advanced users. I'm a novice to sex toys, and I think this was a good choice for my first purchase. It definitely didn't intimidate or scare me. That being said, I think that the length is a pretty average size, and it works well for most. I do think that the width could be bigger, though. It would definitely travel well because it doesn't need batteries or plugs, but it isn't discreet.

It performed well for it's first go-around. I experimented with various positions and rotated it for different pleasure sensations. It can stimulate the g-spot pretty quickly, but the insertion side fell a little short...pun intended. It's a great starter toy, and I am happy with that, but for serious penetration? I will look elsewhere.

Ella is super easy to care for. She's smooth and non-porous, which makes for easy washing. Just lather with a little antibacterial soap, and rinse clean. I let mine air dry, but you can dry it with a non-linting cloth. I store mine in the included bag inside the included box...waste not, want not.

Ella came in a sturdy box that had a cut-out just for her. A satin tie-bag was also included. Ella would be great as a gift because the only thing needed is a bow. Ella doesn't need any additional storage because all is included. The user instructions were a helpful guide... I mean who doesn't love a good step-by-step guide.

This dildo was a great first buy for me. It introduced me to the world of sex toys, and I look forward to using more. The pleasure I get from this toy is a straight-forward kind of climax. It's very beneficial for a quickie.
