My go to girl and she is so sweet!

The Sugar Drop may not be the perfect fit for all as a double ended dildo. Those who can accommodate her G-spot girth are in for one hell of a satisfying ride! Silicone, non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free, the Sugar Drop is a wonderfully designed dildo that with proper care will satisfy your desires for a life time. Both ends of the Sugar Drop are pure decadence!
Published: June 22, 2009
Pros:
100% Silicone, beautifully designed, large ergonomic handle for easy thrusting, very satisfying!
Cons:
G-spot end or "Handle" may be too large for some to use for G-spot stimulation.

Use

I absolutely LOVE the Sugar Drop. She's perfect for me! The Sugar Drop is to me, a double ended dildo. I can use the large, oval, ergonomic handle/G-spot end as a G-spotter and it's fantastic! Now the dimensions of the handle/G-spot end are quite large, 2" long, or top to bottom, and 1 3/4" across or side to side.

Due to the large size, this dildo may not work for everyone in this way. For those of you who know you can accommodate larger size toy's, I highly recommend giving it a try. The other end of the Sugar Drop is almost torpedo shaped, with a raised rounded edged bubble design for texture. This end is wonderful for classic penetration, and is easily manipulated due to the wonderful handle. This end of the dildo grazes my G-spot with every thrust, and I can obtain just about any angle easily.

Due to that fab handle/G-spot end, I love to use this end of the Sugar Drop to fuck myself while my husband rubs my clit. We have no problem working in the same area because I can tilt the handle to the side, by my inner thigh, and slowly thrust. The Sugar Drop is also safe for anal use due to that flared handle.

Material / Texture

"Sugar" as I'll affectionately call her is 100% Silicone. The majority of Sugar is a silky smooth, matte finish, with the exception of the rim and interior of the bubbles which are as smooth and as highly polished as glass. The bubbles are a great source of added texture, that in no way feel uncomfortable to me due to the rounded edges.

I also own the Ophoria Pleasures No.6, and it has raised detail as well but they're not rounded (Flat knife edge) and I found it to be very uncomfortable in comparison. Sugar has no foul taste or odor. The Sugar is soft enough to be flexed or squeezed and it yields, but is firm enough to get any job done with an extremely comfortable and satisfying conclusion.

Design / Shape / Size

I felt it was very important for me to write this review because of Sugar's design, and how it worked for me. I wanted others to know the Sugar may work as a double ended dildo for them as well, with the added perk of SIZE. To me, this dildo is Superior to the Ella double ended dildo by Lelo and it works in the exact same way.

Due to the sheer size of the aforementioned head/handle, the Sugar has no choice but to caress and milk the G-spot with precision. After insertion the head is at a 40 to 45 degree angle filling my vaginal canal, with the underside of the handle wrapped right around my G-spot. I don't think this dildo is suitable for beginner seeking to use the G-spot handle, unless you have a very clear picture of the size of toy your vagina can accommodate.

The design of this dildo is great for those seeking to use it strictly as a traditional dildo because of the handle as well. The overall size of Sugar is 1 5/8 inches in diameter, and 8 1/2 inches in total length; with 6 1/2 of that being insertable/the straight end. The Sugar is perfect as a travel companion as she wont break, shatter, or set off any metal detectors.

Performance

I could just gush and gush over the way the Sugar felt in every aspect. The size and shape of the torpedo shaped end, just makes me writhe with passion as it grazes the G-spot. The handle gives me a great, secure, comfortable grip. The G-spot end is orgasmic as well.

The silicone is the perfect blend of firmness while it's still forgiving. She warms quickly to body temperature; is hygienic and easy to clean or sterilize. I personally find no faults with my Sugar. I own the Tentacle, Ella, Squirt, Vip, Randy-Vixskin version and Scrudy. Miss shug (Sugar) is my favorite Silicone fuck!

Care and Maintenance

Silicone lube is a big "NO" for Sugar, unless you like your Sugar melted. Water based lube is fine. Sugar can be sterilized by boiling for 3 minutes, or by placing in the top shelf of the dishwasher. Wiping with a 10% bleach to water solution is fine as well. Washing with soap or antibacterial soap is fine for regular cleaning if your not going to be sharing Sugar.

The Sugar Drop comes with a nice little acrylic stand and I suppose that's a fine alternative if there are no unwanted onlookers running around your home. If you choose to leave Sugar out on her stand, be aware she will need a quick bath before using to remove dust and particles she'll attract. I store my sugar in my dresser away from any other silicone toy's.

I always thought the g-spot end was concave and sort of made as a suction cup from the photos, Thanks for the really helpful review.

NS: LOL, I can see how u might think that form the photos. The colors are what I would call semi transparent, similar to Popsicles and can be deceiving to the eye. Winking

Hi Epiphoria,
I know,to many that statement is blasphemy, but that's how I truly feel. I love Ella as well, I just love My Shug more......In love

I size why you think this is superior to the Ella? Did you use the other side at all?

Hello Adriana,
Size is a factor. The Sugar Drop is larger all the way around. I use both ends. I love them both! When I say it's superior, I mean that It's superior to "Me". Not everyone will be able to use the Sugar drop as a double ended dildo. The handle of the Sugar Drop just seems to provide more intense g-spot stimulation for me. Sugar has a fuller feel than Ella when using either end. The shaft portion and the handle of Shug have more flexibility and just that little bit of added texture provided by the bubbles is more satisfying to me as well. Not that Ella is inept @ g-spot stim, quite the contrary. I love Shugs texture, size, colors (I own two), and the give of the silicone. We all have our preferences and The Sugar drop is just the one I prefer. I love Ella, I would recommend her to anyone and for the majority of people I think she's the more universal fit. If I have to pick between the two, the Sugar Drop is coming with me.

I finally caved and bought it in green. It then immediately went out of stock. Are these getting discontinued because I can't find them anywhere else!

  • Boiling silicone/metal dildos = safe sharing without condoms?
    • If I boil a silicone or metal dildo -- or an anal plug -- would it then be safe to share with my husband without putting a condom on it? Since we are fluid-bonded, I'd hate to waste the money on condoms (they're not cheap!).

Also, if I use a dildo anally and then boil it, would it be safe to use vaginally without a condom? From what I understand, silicone and steel are completely sterilizable with boiling, but I want to be 100% certain first.

Also, can you boil Pyrex glass to sterilize for sharing? I don't yet have any glass toys -- a mistake that I will soon be rectifying! Using both anally and vaginally, as well as sharing, might be fun.
    • If you're fluid bonded, I don't see the problem. Why do you need to ultra sterilize it if you're already fluid bonded? Normal cleaning should be fine.. I'm not sure I'm getting the question though maybe.

Normally cleaning would not be good enough since I'm concerned about transferring bacteria (E. Coli) after anal insertion to the vagina or transferring bacteria from partner to partner (not usually a problem during vaginal sex since E. Coli is found in the rectum and digestive tract).

I had thought that boiling was sufficient to kill the bacteria on silicone and metal toys, but I read a couple of reviews on EF where the reviewer recommended using a condom on the toy ANYTIME that toys were shared. But I don't see why using a condom on a toy would be necessary after boiling.

Again, I thought boiling sufficiently killed the bacteria and effectively sterilized the toy to be safe for sharing. I assumed "safe for sharing" meant that, once boiled, no condom would be needed. Just wanted to make doubly certain.

I have the Sugar dildo and i like it very much. I'm using it only vaginally. I know this toy can be boiled to sterilize, should I do that every time I use this silicone dildo?

I think 'tis up to you. Soap and water really are probably fine. But if you are particularly concerned, boil away :)
    • It's not necessary to do it every single time, no. I'd say a good scrub with liquid antibacterial soap and warm water, and boiling it maybe every fifth time or so will give you a toy that'll last for years! Remember the water should be at a rolling boil (the bubbles keep the silicone from laying on the very hot bottom of the pot) and you really only need maybe 3 or 4 minutes in the boiling water before it's ok.
