Twisted pleasure - classic glass dildo by EdenFantasys - review by MikeyWayFan

As with any glass toy, the Twisted Pleasure is great for temperature play. I like how, as a material, the glass always starts out cool, which is a nice contrast to the warmth of my skin. It's actually a little disappointing when it heats up to my body temperature, because unlike other glass toys I own, this toy doesn't have any additional features - like curves, bulges, or a nubby texture - that make it interesting to me once it's warmed up. It's good for some teasing and shallow thrusting at first, but once it's warm, I don't get much out of it.

The base is not much wider than the shaft, so I wouldn't feel comfortable using it anally, although it could be safe if used with a partner holding onto it to make sure it wasn't inserted too deeply.

Twisted Pleasure is made of borosilicate glass, one of the safest materials for a sex toy as long as it's intact. Borosilicate glass is pretty tough, though, so it's unlikely to crack or break unless dropped or thrown a great distance, at which point you're probably not using it as a sex toy anymore anyway.

The design of this toy is simple but lovely. The glass is a beautiful shade of deep blue that looks almost purple in certain lighting. The surface of the glass is detailed with gently curving lines that run the length of the shaft from the base to just below the smooth, slightly bulging head.



At 1.25 inches in diameter, this toy is thin enough for most beginners, and probably for someone with a vagina that's slightly smaller than average, although I can't claim to be an expert on that.

Unfortunately, I found the length to be challenging with this toy. I wouldn't usually consider 6 inches to be too long, but because the dildo is completely straight and made of an inflexible material, I found it uncomfortable to insert the toy all the way, and/or to use it for hard in-and-out thrusting, which I usually enjoy.

That being said, this toy has a lot of nice features. While it's not ideal for me, I think it could be enjoyable for a great many people.

Although I find this toy attractive, and enjoy the cool touch of the toy when first using it, it falls short for me in that it's too long, considering that it's straight glass which has no curve or any significant texture. I discuss these issues in more detail in "Use" and "Design/Shape/Size" above.

Because this toy is made of glass, it's easy to clean with simple soap and water. The texture means it has some grooves that are a little more difficult to clean than a smooth surface would be, but the grooves aren't so deep that cleaning between them is a huge challenge.



The toy comes with a red pouch for storage. The pouch is large enough to contain the entire dildo, and has a drawstring, which makes it very discreet. However, the pouch is not padded, so you'll want to find a safe place to store it.

Glass can safely be used with any silicone-based, water-based, or oil-based lubricant.

Like other glass toys I've bought from Eden Fantasys, this one arrived wrapped in bubble wrap inside a red fabric pouch with a drawstring (see "Care and Maintenance", above). The pouch provides discreet packaging as long as the drawstring is closed.

Unfortunately, no instructions are provided. Not that you need to be told how to use a dildo, but it would be great if some safety information were included.

I don't think I can get off with this toy. I wanted to try glass dildos for a long time, but I was never able to find affordable ones until I discovered Eden Fantasys. Even then, I was reluctant to try a straight glass dildo, for reasons I could never explain, except "I just don't think I'll like it."

When I had the opportunity to purchase this toy at a great low price thanks to one of Eden's Facebook promotions, I figured I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me, but at least now I know. The savings I got definitely made it worth it, as one of my other promotional purchases in the same shipment, the Wizard, is now one of my favorite toys.
