First and foremost, with Pyrex, I had mentioned that it can transfer temperature. It can, carefully.

To HEAT: Pyrex likes to be heated, in fact it can be heated to 1,510 °F before it softens. Obviously you wouldn't want to heat your toy this high. But you [itlaic|could]. To warm your toy to a comfortable temperature, place it is a boil of hot water for a half hour allowing the heat to soak into the center of the toy. Test before use to prevent burns.

To CHILL: Place your toy in the refrigerator, NOT THE FREEZER, for a half hour. DO NOT place the Amethyst or any Pyrex toy in the freezer. It is not intended to be froze, doing so is likely to shatter your toy. The refrigerator is your safest bet.

Any lube can be used! Silicone, oil, water based, radioactive waste, all of this is fine with the Amethyst.
As are all types of condoms, The Amethyst is compatible will all of them!

Cleaning is super simple. Boil it, Put it on the top rack of the dishwasher, 10% bleach solution or use a mild anti-bacterial soap, wipe, rinse and air dry.

Store your Amethyst in the toy pouch provided, or go all out and get a padded one.

The Amethyst I received was void of a box, or any packaging other then a few wraps of bubble wrap. It was placed inside a cheap 1 ply red velvet pouch. The glass piece was flawless non the less, and looked great. The pouch on the other hand sucks. The drawstring on the pouch is worthless, and the toy will drop out since there is no way to tighten the drawstring over then to wrap the cord around the top of the bag like this:

If I were you I would buy a new pouch. The Toy Pouch actually works as a great substitute. Or get the Bent Graduate It's the same toy, but comes with a really great padded bag.

I love my Amethyst, I have been able to achieve super quick lovely G-Spot Orgasms, the curved handle works great at maneuvering the Pyrex piece as I command.
