O2 Cush is my number 1!

If you're looking for a dildo with some extra girth and a pleasurable texture, Cush will work well for you. The thick shaft may be too much for some users and does require some warm-up, but this dildo can work well for moving on to thicker toys. The base is great for riding, thrusting, or using in an O-ring harness. While a bit expensive, this toy is built to please and certainly won't leave you disappointed. A great option for those who want a realistic feel without an overly realistic look.

Use

The Tantus O2 Cush dildo is a very versatile toy that works well vaginally or anally as a regular dildo, and is O-ring compatible for strap-on play. The Cush performs admirably for any of these purposes given that you are prepared for its thick shaft and noticeably raised ridge that serves as a sort of second glans sensation-wise. I use this toy exclusively for anal pleasure and I couldn't ask for anything better. The Cush measures in at 5.5" in circumference and 1.75" in diameter, so whether you are seeking a toy for anal or vaginal use I would not recommend this for complete novices.

The toy has a firm base that is less pliant than than the rest of the dildo, and serves well for just about anything. Besides the obvious compatibility with O-ring harnesses, the base of the Cush is also great for getting a handle on things for thrusting, and is even balanced enough for hands-free riding if you are on a smooth hard surface such as wood or tile.

Material / Texture

This dildo was my first dual-density toy, and I must say that reports of the excellence of O2 have not been exaggerated. The softer, more squishy parts of the toy are lighter in color and are a good indicator of what you should expect once it's inserted. The firmer inner core is not easily felt even when the toy is squeezed or pinched, but you can certainly notice the difference. The shaft does not easily bend, which makes it great for anal play. The plush outer layer is relatively true-to-life, and this realistic sensation can be further aided by running warm water over Cush prior to play. The texture in and of itself is safe for beginners, but the dimensions of this toy may cause some to consider what feels like a more manageable toy.

Out of the box, the Cush had no detectable odor or taste. It is easy to notice what a high-quality toy Tantus has in the O2 Cush. The material and everything just feels right, and I knew right away that it would become something I'd look to immediately if I wanted a good thrusting toy. The only downside to the O2 texture is it seems especially talented at picking up dust, lint, hairs and other yuckies. Giving this toy a good warm rinse right before use has become a must for me, even in clean individual storage.

Design / Shape / Size

Out of all of my toys, the Cush may be my favorite when it comes down to design and aesthetic appeal. At first I was worried about the second ridge on the shaft being uncomfortable for anal use, but as long as I'm properly prepared for this toy's size it actually is quite pleasurable. I was glad to have found a dildo that can be more or less life-like without looking too realistic, as that has always been a personal turn-off when it comes to toys. The design is sleek and relatively straightforward, with a clearly defined glans and a unique second raised area that wraps around the thick shaft.

While being defined as a "realistic dildo", the Cush manages to be whimsical enough for those who don't like the veiny texture of other similar dildos without alienating more traditional users. The size of this toy was fantastic for what I was looking for, which was a step up from my previous more slender dildo into more challenging and filling territory. For anal users, warming up prior to use of this toy is a must. I would recommend using a slightly more slender toy or something with a tapered length. I found using The Big End for gently thrusting the thickest portion in and out is the best warm-up for me to prepare my body for Cush's thickness.

While this toy's size is just about perfect for my needs, the fact is that it's not very travel-friendly at all. It is a big, thick brightly-colored cock and takes up quite a bit of space. If you can stow this away someplace not-so-secret, it should be alright. However, hiding this big boy from nosy people during travel may prove to be a challenge.

Performance

Although this is my first silicone dildo, I think that this performs extremely well. The tapered head of the toy is squishy enough to gently stretch you out, although there isn't much time for you to get used to the girth of the shaft. If you're prepared, initial entry feels fantastic and it keeps getting better the deeper in it slides. This was my first thicker-than-average toy and I think that the Cush hits all the right spots for anal use for me. The shaft provides a great stretching and filling sensation and the 6.75" of insertable length turned out to be perfect for both riding and thrusting.

I have not tried attaching a vibrating bullet onto this toy, but I also feel that the toy performs very nicely on its own. I feel that the vibes may distract from the other wonderful sensations this toy provides. P-spotting can be achieved with some inventive angling, but for my personal use I generally end up just thrusting or riding without worrying too much about hitting my p-spot. The pleasure derived from this toy filling me up is more than worth my not being able to p-spot with this toy very well.

Care and Maintenance

Since this toy is 100% silicone, cleaning and care couldn't be easier. The toy can be fully disinfected by washing it on the top rack of the dishwasher or submerging it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. A good clean can also be achieved by simply rubbing down the toy with antibacterial soap and rinsing it thoroughly in warm water. I personally find it enjoyable to give the Cush a handjob as I'm rubbing the soap onto the shaft. This is a good way for me to unwind after a play session and also makes sure the toy is clean and ready to go for its next use.

A lint-free towel is best for drying off this toy after cleaning, because as I've mentioned before this thing attracts lint like nobody's business. I store the Cush individually in a large Ziploc bag inside a clean covered plastic container. As always, this toy should be fully disinfected if used between people or orifices. Toy covers or condoms are also an option, but safety should always be a priority if you plan on this guy going into more than one hole.

Packaging

The O2 Cush's packaging is nice to look at and not the typical sometimes goofy packaging some other toys come encased in. It does not come with a booklet of instructions, though it's probably not necessary. The side of the box comes with much marketing talk about how and why Tantus toys are the best. The backside of the packaging is similar and lists some ways about how you can care for your new toy. The packaging is clear so it will be obvious that you've ordered a big dong, so privacy if needed when opening the Cush will be important. Due to the way the toy was encased, the bulky pseudo-clamshell packaging does not make for good storage. I'd recommend recycling the container and using a toy pouch or bag to store your new dildo in.

Experience

The second ridge on the shaft of this dildo may make some users wonder if it's suitable for anal use as much as it is for vaginal. From my experience, the second ridge is definitely noticeable but very pleasant, similar to being penetrated once more while still having that full sensation. The ridge may become uncomfortable if it's in the same spot for an extended amount of time, but since this is a thrusting or riding toy this shouldn't be an issue. I do have to stress that for anal use this is absolutely not for beginners, and even advanced users will need to take some preparation before enjoying this toy. Rubbing some lube onto and slightly into the anal opening, and also along the head and upper shaft of the Cush seems to work very well for me. When in doubt, apply some more lube!

From my experience, the Cush is one of two silicone toys of mine that does not hold odor in the least bit. I've used this toy over and over and even up close it just has the plain neutral smell of silicone. This of course is great, since it cleans up very well and smells good as new even after multiple uses.

As far as taking this toy anally, my favorite positions have been bent over something (say, a bed or a couch) or on my knees and riding it. It does work well when on my back, but my personal preference is for the aforementioned two positions. This isn't a toy I would think to bring into the shower with me, as I prefer smaller toys for that particular setting. This toy is normally what I use for bedroom sessions by the end of them, though I may use assorted other toys before this big guy. Experiment with different positions and settings and see what you like!
Follow-up commentary
I have been using this toy consistently when I am looking for a longer and/or heavier play session. I love the O2 Cush as much as I did on the day I first used it. I could not recommend this toy more to any serious dildo user. Of the seven toys I own as of writing this follow-up, the Cush is far and away my favorite. Ideal for thrusting and riding alike, I cannot think of any quality or performance flaws worth hesitating about. After many uses, I can safely say that the material of Cush does not hold odors. After a good wash, even after anal usage, this toy smells neutral and clean.

Overall, this toy rocks. If you must choose just one dildo, the O2 Cush with its lifelike feel and attractive looks is absolutely the way to go.
