Leo - dildo by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Beaners

My boyfriend and I were in the market for a new strap on dildo after using the Mistress for a little bit, and he had done some research on the Leo, and wanted to "upgrade" to it. When I first saw this, I said no freaking way am I getting a silver sparkley dildo. Absolutely not. I am not some Stephenie Meyer vampire. But I picked it up and checked it out, and decided it was too awesome to do without. I could live with the sparkles. It's a very good weight, and the girth is nice without being too big, and it's not too long either; from just holding it, I was impressed. The great thing about the Leo is that it has a ridge below the head, similar to a foreskin. Because the rest of the toy is so smooth, it's nice to have that little bit of added texture. It also has a wide base that's great for using it as a strap-on toy, but is a little awkward to hold onto if you're using it as a regular dildo.

The silicone that Vixen Creations uses for their dildos is absolutely divine (Remember that since it's silicone you can't use silicone based lubes with it, and be careful with condoms, it's probably best to err on the side of caution and use non-lubricated ones with your own water based lube.) The silicone is smooth and soft, but just sturdy enough. It doesn't have much of a smell, particularly for a silicone toy. Any smell that it has very quickly dissipates. Cleaning it is easy; I just use antibacterial soap and warm water, but you can use a toy cleaner as well. Another thing I like about the Vixen Creations dildos is that they come in a fabulous clear cylindrical package that you can use for storage. Like other silicone toys, this attracts a lot of dust and hair if you leave it out, so having a storage container like this is awesome (particularly because my boyfriend and I like to "display" our collection).

This dildo is, in a word, awesome. My boyfriend used it on me first, using his hands to hold the base. He had some trouble figuring out a good place to hold it, but didn't let that deter him. To be blunt, the Leo is very close in size to him, which I think is perfect. It was like having a smooth, cold (at first) version of my boyfriend. The curve of the Leo was fabulous for hitting my G spot, and it was just rigid enough to really get me off. I loved the ridge right underneath the head, and then the smoothness of the rest of the dildo. I noticed it more than I was expecting to. The next night we strapped the Leo into our Mia-Z harness. It fit very well, and stayed put. It definitely took a lot of warming up with smaller toys and a LOT of lube to get my boyfriend prepped for the Leo, but very slowly we finally got there. Once it was in, it was wonderful for him, definitely a good step up from the Mistress. The curve hit his prostate the same way it hit my g-spot. He claims it gave him the Orgasm of the Year.

I'm slowly working my way up to anal, and we're planning on this being the last "training" toy before actually trying anal intercourse.
