Pink swirl - double ended dildo by SSA Glass - review by Eva Schwaltz

The Pink Swirl from SSA Glass is a straight, double-ended dildo with a lightly swirled texture. It is great for thrusting, but be careful not to hit your cervix. The heads are pronounced, but don’t look entirely anal safe, so I don’t recommend sticking it in the butt. Besides, there are much better glass anal toys offered on this site.

This glass is very solid, and won’t break apart on you during normal use. However, if it does break, it will break up into large chunks instead of shatter. The toy should be examined before every use for any chips or cracks. If you discover any, throw it away immediately so you don’t hurt yourself.

Glass is wonderful because it holds temperatures very well. Place it under warm water, or in a bowl of ice water for some delightful fun. Even using your own body heat to warm it up is fine too. Just be sure to not place it in the microwave or freezer because that can be the end of your glass toy since those temperatures are too extreme.

The swirls are very mild. In fact, I can’t feel them during use. If you like a bit more texture, I recommend going with the Blue Swirl from the same company. If you are new to glass, then this would be a good toy to start off with.

It is 7” long and completely insertable because you can use both ends. One end has a teardrop shaped head with a circumference of 4 ¾” at the widest part. The other end has two bulges. The first one is slightly larger than the second one. The first bulge is 4 ½” in circumference, and the second one is 4 ¼” in circumference. I actually prefer to use this end because the other end is too pointy. The shaft is 3 ¼” in circumference, so it is a great fit for most users. Each piece is individually hand blown, so measurements may vary. Size queens will most likely want something much larger.

Glass is very easy to clean because you can clean it in any way you please. If washing it with soap and water, it would be wise to place a wash cloth at the bottom of the sink because glass becomes very slippery when wet. You can also boil it for a few minutes, wipe it down with a bleech solution, or run it through the dishwasher.

All lubricants are compatible with glass, and a tiny drop goes a long way since glass is extremely slick. It comes with a velvet pouch that holds the dildo perfectly, but it is not padded. It will prevent your glass toys from clinking together, but may not protect it from a fall.
