One for Me, One for You

This is our first share dildo and we absolutely love it. I gave it four stars because it defiantly takes practice to use without a harness and we would love to try one with a vibrator. The Share from Toy Factory is made of 100% medical grade silicone.

Use

This double ended Share dildo can be used several different ways. The bulb end (the chubby side) is meant to be inserted vaginally while the other end is used for your partner, male or female, anally or vaginally. I read on another person's review that a brave male could insert the bulb end into himself and double penetrate his female partner. I have not tried this one yet, but I'm sure I will.

Personally, I used it with my male partner. It can be used with or with out a harness and we tried it both ways. It's pretty heavy so the weight of it makes it floppy if not using with a harness. Our best experience was with water based lubricant and the Jaguar Harness.

Material / Texture

The material is medical grade silicone. It's sort-of a matte, velvety soft texture. It has no smell or taste. There is a seam all the way down the dildo but you can't feel it at all.

It's very firm but it still flexible giving a realistic feel while in use.

Design / Shape / Size

The size and shape of the bulb fits perfectly into the vagina. It's quite large, so lubrication is required for entry and general comfort while in use. The bottom part of the bulb is smaller so it does not stretch your vaginal opening. When thrusting, the bulb moves around inside you, pushing up against your g-spot each time. I'm not new to the strap on but it's really allot more fun when both partners can share in the sensation.

Since in this case, size is pretty much all relative, I'll refrain from saying the receiver's end isn't all that big. I think most people might think it is big. The only reason we chose not to go with the bigger one is because my partner likes less ridges and bumps. The only real ridge on this on is on the head.

Performance

Although it is possible to use without, I found it much easier to use with a harness.

When used without a harness, the weight makes it pretty floppy. The person on the giving end has to have relatively strong PC muscles in order to keep it in place.

I then used it in conjunction with the Jaguar Harness. The fit was perfect and helped hold the Share in place for a much longer and active period.

Care and Maintenance

The Share is made of massive medical grade silicone! It can easily be cleaned and sanitized by using hot water and antibacterial soap or putting it on the top shelf of your dishwasher (no dish soap).

I have been storing in a box with a mixture of other toys that include fur, jelly, glass etc... I have not had any issues other than a little fur sticking to it. Since I wash my toys before and after use, its really not a problem.

It's compatible with water and oil based lubricants. I always prefer water based. Do not use silicone based lubricant!

Packaging

This was my first Fun Factory purchase and I was absolutely astounded with the packaging. It came in a beautiful, quietly decorated and classy box with only one picture of the toy on the back. The front featured only a drawn outline of the toy and a few similar toys. It has a clear window that you can see though with a magnetic closure that opens to an interesting diagram of the German engineered craftsmanship.

Inside the box came an instruction booklet with five languages, a booklet with all of the other Fun Factory toys available for sale and a test size of Toyfluid. (I lucked out and got two)!

Although I probably wont store the share itself in it, I plan on reusing this box in some way. It's just to cool to toss.

Be careful that this doesn't come into contact with any other silicone toys in your box! Good review. I'd totally buy this if I had a partner.

I really like fun Factory products. I wonder if there's a similar dildo with a vibrator? If so, don't think I've seen it.

Did you find the floppiness of the shaft end a good thing or a bad thing compared to stiffer double dils like Feeldoe?

Toy geek: Thanks for the additional advise...I've heard it before but never really knew what would happen if two silicone toys touched one another. What happens?

Adriana:

I have not tried the Feeldoe yet but it's coming up on the list. Fun Factory, as far as I know, dose not yet have a vibe share dildo.....when they do, I'm all over it.

Kuuipogal:

As far as the floppiness, it's a little tricky until you get the hang of it. I enjoy a challenge, so don't consider it to be a bad thing at all. Also, it didn't take to long to get used to. Smile

Does the share sit well in the jaguar harness? There's a video that ScottA posted with a different harness that makes it look a bit uncomfortable.

  • can you get off while using this?
    • I would really love to be using this with my partner, at got off at the same time..
    • without too much effort on my part?
    • It really depends on your anatomy and what gets you off.

If it can hit your g-spot, that'll do something, but it varies person-to-person how much. It might hit your clitoris, but again depends on how the toy fits your body - and if you can get off from that kind of stimulation.

Personally, I don't rely on it to get me "all the way" all by itself - because I can't orgasm so far with just g-spot and clitoral touching. Some people certainly can, it just depends. :)

  • Strapless dildos
    • Are strapless dildos hard to use for beginners?
    • I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.
    • It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

How do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness?

      Thank you.

      Thank you.
They both work well in a harness. Share is a little bouncier and thicker and jucier and Feeldoe is much firmer. I find them both easy to use with no harness, although I find Nexus JR the easiest to retain. Out of all the double dildoes I have tried (all 4 Feeldoes, both Shares, Tango, and the three Nexus sizes, I find Tango the hardest to hold with my muscles followed by Nexus Maximus (weighs a ton) and Share XL (weighs like a brick and is floppy) . I'm a driver. It matters a bit less if you are a pillow princess.
    • I have the Feeldoe(slim) and the Tango and have used the Share. I agree with Kuuipogal. But for me they all pop out just prior to orgasm despite strong Kegels but the "look" w/o a harness is awesome.
I am a hard and vigorous driver so a harness for me has been the solution. I have the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts both super.

  • Strap-onless strap-ons
    • I love when my girlfriend ties me down and dominates me but we haven't given much thought to strap-ons. Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?
    • A starp-on harness is a good initial investment because it can be used with a variety of toys including strapless ones (if desired).
The strapless ones seem to be pretty good, though depending on who you talk to. The Share line and the feeldoe line seem to get good marks from most and present the best chance that they can be used completely without a harness. The Nexus line would probably be somewhat more difficult for the giver to hold inside without a harness. I think the harness option might be better for versatility, but the Share might represent an excellent choice for you and your girlfriend as well.

Personally, I would say no... just because they're harder to navigate. Certainly possible, and you can add a harness to get more stability while keeping the internal stimulation. There are also some harnesses that will hold a cock inside the wearer as well, so you have more options.
I'd agree with Jimbo that either the Share or Feeldoe is your best bet for doubles like this, the Nexus just doesn't cut it.
